Apostle Grace Lubega
Psalm 96:9 (KJV); ‘O worship the Lord in the beauty of holiness: fear before him, all the earth.
Beauty is a powerful force in the conversion of human convictions. Many people are enticed by what they see with their eyes as beautiful. The devil exploits this human weakness with unimaginable glee because it is what he used against Eve in the garden of Eden and it worked. In Genesis 3:6, when she looked at the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, one of the reasons she ate the forbidden fruit was because the tree was pleasant to the eye.
Even today, Satan has a way of disguising himself in the glory of beauty and as such, deceives many.
God was very deliberate when He sent Christ to the earth in the form of one who was not outwardly beautiful. The Bible says in Isaiah 53:2 that there was no beauty when one looked at Him, to desire Him.
The Lord needed man to understand beauty differently and avoid falling victim to the enemy’s tendency to present himself as beautiful.
How then does a man distinguish between the beauty of God and the beauty of Lucifer? True beauty as defined by God is from inside-out. To understand the beauty of God, you must get in God. The beauty of Christ was in the fact that He carried the essence of the Father in Him. This beauty is only in the realm of the revelation of the person of God and once you find it, it makes everything on the outside beautiful.

PRAYER: My Loving Father, I thank You for this knowledge. I thank You because I am a child of light and live above the deception of the enemy. I know how to tell the difference between light and darkness, beauty and the illusion of beauty. By this wisdom, I walk in the paths of truth, to the glory of Your name, Amen.
