Apostle Grace Lubega
Matthew 4:19 (KJV); And he saith unto them, Follow me, and I will make you fishers of men.
The power of association is in the fact that you are made by what you follow.
Our Lord tells the disciples, “follow me and I will make you fishers of men.”
When you follow a man who does not understand faith, you will frustrate your faith. When you follow a man who does not believe that the Word of God takes priority in all things, you will compromise on what the scripture says. When you follow a man who does not give, you will struggle to give.
This same wisdom should teach you not to follow everyone.
There are Christians who listen to every man or woman of God on television, YouTube or Facebook. Every preacher has access to their hearts and whatsoever is taught is what they receive as truth in its purest form.
The danger in following everyone is that you mix your seed and wherever there is mixed seed, there is rebellion, whether you know it or not. More often than not, Christians who mix their seed cannot stay planted and make a habit of hopping from church to church. Christians who mix their seed cause strife amongst other church members. Christians who mix their seed more often than not cease to respect spiritual authority.
It is in the behaviour of babes to eat whatever comes their way. That is not what God expects of a mature Christian. It is part of maturity to be discriminative in what you hear and let into your spirit.

GOLDEN NUGGET: The power of association is in the fact that you are made by what you follow.
PRAYER: Father, I thank You for this wisdom. I am mature in spirit and can never mix my seed. I understand the doctrine of Christ in its purest form and can never allow even a little leaven to get me off the path of truth. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
