Apostle Grace Lubega
Proverbs 4:18 (NKJV): “But the path of the just is like the shining sun, That shines ever brighter unto the perfect day.”
—
It has often been said that a man should go to the grave empty. While one may appreciate the lesson behind this statement, which is the need to live a life of impact and achievement, it must be understood that this is not the full picture of the life of a child of God.
God has designed the Christian life to be one of consistent and continuous progress. As our theme scripture reveals, the path of the just shines brighter and brighter unto the perfect day. The Message translation renders it beautifully: The longer they live, the brighter they shine.
With such a glory-to-glory experience guaranteed by God, it is not expected that a child of God gets to the end of life empty.
Jesus did not go to the grave empty. He was full. Even in death, virtue still flowed from Him and life was ministered to the world.
Paul did not go to the grave empty. In Philippians 2:17, he paints the picture of himself as a drink offering being poured out. Why? Because he was a man in the overflow; overflowing with revelation, with the God-life, with divine wisdom, and with grace for his generation.
This truth cannot be overemphasised. When a man leaves the earth in a state of overflow, he carries the ability and grace to minister even posthumously. He remains a source beyond the grave. Though dead in the flesh, his light continues to shine, his words continue to speak, and his life continues to minister.
This is your portion and destiny. Hallelujah!

GOLDEN NUGGET: When a man leaves the earth in a state of overflow, he carries the ability and grace to minister even posthumously. He remains a source beyond the grave. Though dead in the flesh, his light continues to shine, his words continue to speak, and his life continues to minister.
PRAYER: Loving Father, I thank You because my path is shining brighter every day. My life is ordained for increase, progress, and endless overflow. I grow deeper in revelation, stronger in grace, richer in wisdom, and greater in impact. My fruits remain, and my life ministers to generations, to the glory of Your name. Amen.
