Apostle Grace Lubega
2 Thessalonians 2:10 (KJV); And with all deceivableness of unrighteousness in them that perish; because they received not the love of the truth, that they might be saved.
God has called us to be lovers of truth.
When a man does not love truth, he perishes. This perishing may take many forms: family life may get frustrated, a career may die, a business may go down the drain, a ministry may cease to grow and sometimes a man may lose his very life.
What then is the love of truth?
Loving truth means having a deep, lasting and consistent relationship with the Word of God.
How often do you read the Word of God? Are you the kind of person who will end an entire day or a week without searching the scriptures which are the fountain of all truth? Do you read your own Bible or is it read for you by your man or woman of God?
How much knowledge are you accumulating from the world compared to the knowledge you are receiving from the Word? Do you spend hours on social media and fall asleep the moment you open your Bible?
Every Christian that is serious about their salvation must be a lover of truth. Fall in love with the Word. Give it attention because you redeem many things about your life every time you immerse yourself in His Word.

GOLDEN NUGGET: Loving truth means having a deep, lasting and consistent relationship with the Word of God.
PRAYER: Loving Father, I thank You for this knowledge. Your Word is the foundation of my life and it sets the pattern by which I do all things. I study it like my life depends on it because it does. I am available to Your Spirit to teach me and guide me into all truth. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
