Genesis 12:1-2 (KJV); Now the Lord had said unto Abram, Get thee out of thy country, and from thy kindred, and from thy father’s house, unto a land that I will shew thee: And I will make of thee a great nation, and I will bless thee, and make thy name great; and thou shalt be a blessing:
When God first appeared to Abraham, He promised to make him a great nation. It went without saying that this great nation would be as a result of Abraham’s seed. It meant that even though Abraham was at the time childless, God had it in His plan to give him a son.
Later events reveal that Abraham did not understand this. If he had understood, he would not have assumed that his servant Eliezer of Damascus would be his heir (Genesis 15:2-3). If he had understood, he would not have agreed to having a child with Hagar (Genesis 16:1-4).
There is a clear difference between what God says and what you understand. Many people make mistakes in their ministries, careers, businesses and relationships because God said one thing and they understood another thing.
Abraham did not understand that his descendants would come from his very own loins. He let his age and Sarah’s bareness blind him to what God truly meant.
To receive instruction is one thing, to understand it is another. Many fall into the pit of assumptions because they merely heard an instruction but did not meditate and ponder on it enough to unveil God’s true intentions.
Every time God speaks to you, ask for the wisdom and grace to fully interpret His instructions concerning your destiny. When you do so, you will never make the kind of mistakes that arise from trying to interpret God’s instruction your way because you did not understand Him when He spoke.

GOLDEN NUGGET: Every time God speaks to you, ask for the wisdom and grace to fully interpret His instructions concerning your destiny. When you do so, you will never make the kind of mistakes that arise from trying to interpret God’s instruction your way because you did not understand Him when He spoke.
PRAYER: Loving Father, I thank You for this knowledge. I always hear You when You speak. But deeper than that, I understand divine instructions and act on them in wisdom and with diligence. This truth guides my steps and keeps me from mistakes and unnecessary delays. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

Olubereberye 12:1-2 (KJV); Awo Mukama n’agamba Ibulaamu nti Va mu nsi ya nnyo, era awali ekika kyo, n’ennyumba ya kitaawo, oyingire mu nsi gye ndikulaga: nange ndikufuula eggwanga eddene, era naakuwanga omukisa, era naakuzanga erinnya lyo; era beeranga mukisa ggwe:
Katonda bwe yasooka okweyoleka eri Ibulayimu, yamusuubiza okumufuula eggwanga eddene. Kyali kirabikirawo era nga tekyetaaga kunnyonnyolwa nti linno eggwanga eddene liriva mu nsigo ya Ibulayimu. Kitegeeza nti newankubadde Ibulayimu mu kaseera ako yali talina mwana, Katonda yakirina mu ntegeka Ye okumuwa omwana.
Ebyaddirira oluvannyuma biraga nti Ibulayimu kino teyakitegeera. Singa yali akitegedde, teyandirowoozezza nti omuweereza we Erieza owe Ddamesiko okuba omusika we (Olubereberye 15:2-3). Singa yategeera, teyandikkirizza okuzaala omwana mu Agai (Olubereberye 16:1-4).

Okufuna ekiragiro kintu kimu, okutegeera nakyo kirala. Bangi bagwa mu kinnya ky’okutebeereza kubanga bawulidde buwulizi ekiragiro naye tebakifumiitirizako era n’okukiddiηηana ekimala okusanukula ebigendererwa ebituufu ebya Katonda.
Buli kiseera Katonda bw’ayogera gy’oli, saba amagezi n’ekisa okutaputa mu bujjuvu ebiragiro Bye ebikwata ku ntuuko yo. Bw’okikola, tolikola kikula kya nsobi eyo eva mu kugezaako okutaputa ebiragiro bya Katonda mu ngeri yo kubanga tewamutegeera bwe yayogera.

AKASUMBI KA ZAABU: Buli kiseera Katonda bw’ayogera gy’oli, saba amagezi n’ekisa okutaputa mu bujjuvu ebiragiro Bye ebikwata ku ntuuko yo. Bw’okikola, tolikola kikula kya nsobi eyo eva mu kugezaako okutaputa ebiragiro bya Katonda mu ngeri yo kubanga tewamutegeera bwe yayogera.
ESSAALA: Kitange Omwagalwa, Nkwebaza olw’okumanya kuno. Nkuwulira bulijjo bw’oyogera. Naye mu buziba okusingako awo, ntegeera ebiragiro by’obwakatonda era mbigoberera mu magezi era n’obwegendereza. Amazima gano galambika ebigere byange era n’onkuukuma okuva mu nsobi n’okukereyezebwa okutaliimu. Mu linnya erya Yesu, Amiina.
OBUHABUZI BWA MUKAMA – 1: OKWETEGYEREZA

Okutandika 12:1-2 (KJV); MUKAMA yaagambira Abramu ati: Ruga omu nsi yaanyu, n’omu ruganda rwanyu n’omu nju ya sho, oze omu nsi ei ndikworeka; ndyakuhindura eihanga rihango; kandi ndyakuha omugisha, ndangaanise eiziina ryawe; naiwe oryahaisa abandi omugisha.
Ruhanga kuyabandize kweyoreka Abrahamu, akamuraganisa kumuhindura eihanga rihango. Tikiragambirwe ngu eihanga rihango eri riryakomooka aha baijukuru ba Abrahamu. Kikaba nikimanyisa ngu n’obu Abrahamu yabaire ataine mwaana omu bwiire obwo, Ruhanga akaba yakiteekateekire kumuheereza omwaana.
Bwanyima ebyabeireho nibishoborora ngu Abrahamu tarayetegyereize eki. Kurinogira ngu aketegyereza, akaba atarikuza kuteekateeka ngu omuhuuku we Eliezeeri owa Damasiko naza kuba omuhunguzi w’ebye (Okutandika 15:2-3). Abrahamu tarayetegyereize ngu abahunguzi be baryaruga omuriwe. Akaikiriza emyaka ye n’obuguumba bwa Sara kumuhumya kuruga ahari eki Ruhanga yabaire namanyisa.
Okwakiira obuhabuzi n’ekintu kimwe, okubwetegyereza n’ekindi. Baingi nibagwa omukiina ky’okuteebereza kwingi ahabw’okuba bakahurira obuhabuzi kwonka tibarafireyo kubuteekateekaho hamwe n’oku bwetegyereza ekiri kumara kushuuruurirwa ebigyendererwa bya Ruhanga ebihikire.
Ruhanga yaguma yagamba naiwe, mushabe obwengye n’embabazi kuvunurira gye obuhabuzi bwe bw’orugyendo rwaawe. Ku orikukora eki, torikora nshobi ezirikuruga omu kugyezaho kuvunurira obuhabuzi bwa Ruhanga omu muringo gwaawe ahabw’okuba toramwetegyereize obu agamba.

EZAABU: Ruhanga yaguma yagamba naiwe, mushabe obwengye n’embabazi kuvunurira gye obuhabuzi bwe bw’orugyendo rwaawe. Ku orikukora eki, torikora nshobi ezirikuruga omu kugyezaho kuvunurira obuhabuzi bwa Ruhanga omu muringo gwaawe ahabw’okuba toramwetegyereize obu agamba.
OKUSHABA: Taata Omukundwa, Ninkusiima ahabw’amazima aga. Butoosha ninkuhurira ku orikugamba. Kwonka okukira ahari ekyo, ninyetegyereza obuhabuzi bwa Ruhanga kandi nkora nk’oku burikugamba omu bwengye hamwe n’obweziriki. Amazima aga nigebembera ebigyere byangye kandi gandiinda obutashobya hamwe n’okukyerererwa okutaine mugasho. Omu eiziina rya Yesu, Amiina.
MAAGIZO YA BWANA – 1: KUFAHAMU
Mwanzo 12:1-2 (KJV); BWANA akamwambia Abramu, Toka wewe katika nchi yako, na jamaa zako, na nyumba ya baba yako, uende mpaka nchi nitakayokuonyesha; nami nitakufanya wewe kuwa taifa kubwa, na kukubariki, na kulikuza jina lako; nawe uwe baraka;
Mungu alipomtokea Ibrahimu kwa mara ya kwanza, aliahidi kumfanya kuwa taifa kubwa. Ilikuwa bila kusema kwamba taifa hili kubwa lingekuwa tokeo la uzao wa Ibrahimu. Ilimaanisha kwamba ingawa Ibrahimu wakati huo hakuwa na mtoto, Mungu alikuwa na mpango wake wa kumpa mwana.
Matukio ya baadaye yanaonyesha kwamba Ibrahimu hakuelewa jambo hilo. Ikiwa angeelewa, hangedhani kwamba mtumishi wake Eliezeri wa Damasko angekuwa mrithi wake (Mwanzo 15:2-3). Kama angeelewa, hangekubali kupata mtoto na Hajiri (Mwanzo 16:1-4).
Kuna tofauti ya wazi kati ya kile Mungu anasema na kile unachoelewa. Watu wengi hukosea katika huduma zao, kazi zao, biashara zao na mahusiano yao kwa sababu Mungu alisema jambo moja na wakaelewa jambo lingine.
Ibrahimu hakuelewa kwamba wazao wake wangetoka katika viuno vyake mwenyewe. Aliruhusu umri wake na ugumba wa Sara kumfanya asione kile ambacho Mungu alimaanisha kweli.
Kupokea mafundisho ni jambo moja, kuelewa ni jambo lingine. Wengi huanguka katika shimo la dhana kwa sababu walisikia tu maagizo lakini hawakutafakari na kuyatafakari vya kutosha kufunua nia za kweli za Mungu.
Kila wakati Mungu anapozungumza nawe, omba hekima na neema ya kutafsiri kikamilifu maagizo yake kuhusu hatima yako.
Unapofanya hivyo, hutawahi kufanya aina ya makosa yanayotokana na kujaribu kutafsiri maagizo ya Mungu kwa njia yako kwa sababu hukumwelewa alipozungumza.

UJUMBE MKUU: Kila wakati Mungu anapozungumza nawe, omba hekima na neema ya kutafsiri kikamilifu maagizo yake kuhusu hatima yako. Unapofanya hivyo, hutawahi kufanya aina ya makosa yanayotokana na kujaribu kutafsiri maagizo ya Mungu kwa njia yako kwa sababu hukumwelewa alipozungumza.
SALA: Baba Mwenye Upendo, Nakushukuru kwa ujuzi huu. Siku zote nakusikia Unapozungumza. Lakini zaidi ya hayo, ninaelewa maagizo ya Mungu na kuyatenda kazi kwa hekima na kwa bidii. Ukweli huu unaongoza hatua zangu na kuniepusha na makosa na ucheleweshaji usio wa lazima. Katika jina la Yesu, Amina.
