Isaiah 1:19 (KJV); If ye be willing and obedient, ye shall eat the good of the land:
When the Bible, in our theme scripture speaks of the good of the land, it means that the land must be good to you.
This goodness is regardless of whether you live in a first-world economy or a third world economy.
There are men who live in first-world economies but the land is not good to them and has rejected them. On the other hand, there are men who live in third world economies but the land is good to them.
In Genesis 4:14, Cain explains the fate of a man to whom the land is not good. He says, “Behold, thou hast driven me out this day from the face of the earth; and from thy face shall I be hid; and I shall be a fugitive and a vagabond in the earth; and it shall come to pass, that every one that findeth me shall slay me.”
When a man, after decades of owning a property, is evicted from his land because of ownership related disputes, that is an example of the land rejecting a man.
The Bible says in Romans 8:28 that all things work together for good to them that love the Lord and are called according to His purpose. When the Land is good to you, it connects to everything around you in your favour. When the land is good to you, it defends your ownership of the things you possess, favours your creations and ideas and multiplies the fruit of all your endeavours.
This is your portion as a child of God!

Isaya 1:19 (KJV); Kama mkikubali na kutii mtakula mema ya nchi;
Wakati Biblia, katika andiko letu kuu, inapozungumza juu ya mema ya nchi, inamaanisha kwamba ardhi lazima iwe nzuri kwako.
Mema haya hayajali kiwango cha maendeleo katika uchumi wa unayoishi.
Kuna watu wanaoishi katika nchi zilizo na uchumi zilizostawi lakini ardhi sio nzuri kwao na imewakataa. Kwa upande mwingine, kuna watu wanaoishi katika nchi zilizo na hali mbaya ya uchumi lakini ardhi ni nzuri kwao.
Katika Mwanzo 4:14, Kaini anaelezea hatima ya mtu ambaye ardhi si nzuri kwake. Anasema, “Tazama, umenifukuza leo katika uso wa nchi; nitasitirika mbali na uso wako; nami nitakuwa mtoro na mtu asiye na kikao duniani; na itakuwa ya kwamba kila anionaye ataniua.”
Wakati mtu, baada ya miongo kadhaa ya kumiliki mali, anafukuzwa kutoka kwa ardhi yake kwa sababu ya migogoro inayohusiana na umiliki, huo ni mfano wa ardhi inayomkataa mtu.
Biblia inasema katika Warumi 8:28 kwamba vitu vyote hufanya kazi pamoja kwa wema kwa wale wanaompenda Bwana na walioitwa kwa kusudi lake. Wakati ardhi ni nzuri kwako, inaunganishwa na kila kitu kinachokuzunguka kwa niaba yako. Ardhi inapokuwa nzuri kwako, inatetea umiliki wako wa vitu ulivyo navyo, inapendelea ubunifu na mawazo yako na kuzidisha matunda ya juhudi zako zote.
