The Phaneroo Devotion: The Glory Of The Mantle

2 Kings 2:12-14(KJV); And Elisha saw it, and he cried My father, my father, the chariot of Israel, and the horsemen thereof. And he saw him no more: and he took hold of his own clothes, and rent them in two pieces. He took up also the mantle of Elijah that fell from him, and went back, and stood by the bank of Jordan; And he took the mantle of Elijah that fell from him, and smote the waters, and said, Where is the LORD God of Elijah? and when he also had smitten the waters, they parted hither and thither: and Elisha went over.

The purpose of the mantle is to open the realm of the spirit to you.

Our theme scripture reveals that Elisha took the mantle of Elijah and with it parted the waters of Jordan. Waters represent the spirit realm. Their parting meant that he had access to that world in a deeper way.

Herein is the power of submission and understanding who your spiritual authority is in the spirit realm. Because Elisha had received the understanding that Elijah was the chariot of Israel and the horsemen thereof(2 Kings 2:12), he had the authority to stand by that revelation to access the realm of God in a deeper way.

When the sons of Sceva tried walking in these realms, they were beaten by the very forces they sought to conquer, not because it was wrong to use the name of Paul or the name of Jesus [Elisha used Elijah’s name] but because they did not understand the spiritual identity of the men whose names they stood on and neither were they submitted in spirit( Acts 19:13-16).

Often times, a true spiritual authority has been to the places in the spirit that you wish to go. He has conquered territories therein that you wish to explore.

Unless you are truly submitted and have understood his identity in spirit, some realms will never bow to you. Submission is not all about imitation. You must ask the ultimate question, “Who is my father?” The answer is not in how he dresses, how he walks or even in how he preaches. It is in who he is in spirit and the mark of distinction upon him that eternally links you to him.

GOLDEN NUGGET: Submission is not all about imitation. You must ask the ultimate question, “Who is my father?” The answer is not in how he dresses, how he walks or even in how he preaches. It is in who he is in spirit and the mark of distinction upon him that eternally links you to him.

PRAYER: Father, I thank You for this truth. I embrace it in humility and walk in its reality. The spiritual realm is open to me because I am submitted. Territories bow to me because I am submitted. I do mighty exploits because I have understood this pattern of growth. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

 N’addira ekyambalo kya Eriya ky’asudde, n’akuba amazzi n’ayogera nti Ali luuyi wa Mukama Katonda wa Eriya? awo ng’amaze okukuba amazzi naye, ne gaawulibwamu eruuyi n’eruuyi: Erisa n’asomoka.

Ekigendererwa ky’omunagiro kwe kuggulawo ensi y’omwoyo gy’oli.

Ekyawandiikibwa kyaffe ekigguddewo kitubikkulira nti Erisa yatwala omunagiro gwa Eriya nagukozesa okwawula amazzi ga Yoludaani. Wano amazzi gakiikirira ensi ey’omwoyo. Okwawula kwago kyategeeza nti Erisa yali afunye omwaaganya okutambulira mu nsi eyo mu ngeri ey’ebuziba.

Muno mwe muli amaanyi g’okukkakkana wansi w’obuyinza, n’okutegeera akulinako obuyinza obw’omwoyo kki kyali mu nsi ey’omwoyo. Emirundi egisinga, omuntu akulinako obuyinza obw’omwoyo bwaba ddala mutuufu, aba yatuukako mu bifo mu mwoyo eyo gye weegomba okugenda. Aba yammegga ebifo mu mwoyo byennyini bye weegomba okutabaala.

Okujjako nga okkakkanidde ddala wansi w’obuyinza bwe era ng’otegedde kki kyali mu mwoyo, ebifo ebimu mu mwoyo tebirivunnama gy’oli. Obukkakamu tebuli mu kugoberera kwokka. 2 Abagabe 2:12-14; Elisa ku yaakireebire, yaagamba munonga, naagira ati: Taata! Taata! Ebigaari bya Israeli n’embaraasi zaayo! Tiyaagaruka kumureeba. Ahonaaho yaakwata ebijwaro bye, yaabitaaguramu ebicweka bibiri. Bwanyima yaihaho omunagiro gwa Eliya ogwamuragara, yaagarukayo, yaayemerera aha rubaju rwa Yorudani. Yaakwata ogwo munagiro gwa Eliya ogwamuragara, yaateera amaizi naagira ati: MUKAMA, Ruhanga wa Eliya, arahi? Ku yaateire amaizi, gaayebaganisamu habiri, yaayambuka.

Ekigyendererwa ky’omunagiro n’okukwigurira ensi y’omwoyo.

Omutwe gw’ebyahandikirwe byaitu nigugira guti Elisa akatwaala omunagiro gwa Eliya yagukozesa kubaganisamu amaizi ga Yorudani. Aha, amaizi nigajwekyera ensi y’omwoyo. Okugabaganisamu kikamanyisa ngu Elisa akaba aine omugisha gw’okugyendera omunsi egyo omu muringo ogwa hare.
