John 8:10-11 (KJV); When Jesus had lifted up himself, and saw none but the woman, he said unto her, Woman, where are those thine accusers? hath no man condemned thee? She said, No man, Lord. And Jesus said unto her, Neither do I condemn thee: go, and sin no more.
God has called us to be helpers, not enablers. While an enabler is self-centred in his love, a helper loves in the purest form.
As helpers, God has called us to CARE FOR people and not to TAKE CARE of them. In the scriptures, specific categories of people are to be TAKEN CARE OF and these are the fatherless and widows (James 1:27).
Many Christians have a misplaced sense of charity. They are like the mythological atlas with the entire world on his shoulders. They struggle with burdens that God has not instructed them to carry.
Love, as understood by God, requires that we CARE FOR men as helpers. Helpers do not expect you to depend on them. When Christ healed the man at the pool of Bethesda, the instruction was, “rise, take thy bed, and walk” (John 5:8). The instruction was not, “take thy bed and come and live with me now that I have healed you.”
Helpers require accountability and greater responsibility from them that they care for. In our theme scripture, Christ tells the woman taken in adultery, “go and sin no more.” As a helper, the fruit of your labour of love must be evident in the other person you are helping and this is achieved through requiring that they be accountable and responsible with their lives.
God wants us to extend love and grace to the world. However, He expects us to do so in wisdom, knowledge and understanding, not as enablers but as helpers.

GOLDEN NUGGET: Love, as understood by God, requires that we CARE FOR men as helpers. God wants us to extend love and grace to the world. However, He expects us to do so in wisdom, knowledge and understanding, not as enablers but as helpers.

Yohaana 8:10-11; Yesu yaajuumuuka, yaamubuuza ati: Iwe mukazi ‘we, bari nkahi? Tihariho n’omwe owaakucwera orubanja? Nawe yaagarukamu ati: Tariho, Mukama wangye. Yesu yaagira ati: Naanye tindikukucwera rubanja. Kwonka irooko okuruga hati otarigaruka kushiisha.
Ruhanga atwetsire kuba abahweezi kutari kuba abarikubaasisa. Omuntu orikubaasisa n’obu araabe nayeteekateekaho omu kukunda kwe, omuhweezi nakunda omu muringo ogurikukirayo kushemera.
Nk’abahweezi, Ruhanga atwetsire KUFAYO AHA bantu kutari KUBAREEBERERA. Omu byahandiikirwe, n’ebika by’abantu bamwe na bamwe abashemereire KUREEBERERWA kandi abo n’efuuzi hamwe n’efaakazi (Yakobo 1:27).

Yohaana 8:10-11 Yesu yainunuka yamukaguza ati: “Mukazi iwe, bali nkaha? Busaho n’omu anyakukusingisize omusango?”
Omukazi yamugarukamu ati: “Taroho, Mukama wange.” Nandiki Yesu ati: “Na nyowe tindukukusingisa musango. Irooko ogende, kyonka otaligarukira kusiisa obundi.”
Ruhanga atwesire okuba abakoonyezi, hatali abasobozesa. Oku okugonza kw’omusobozesa kuba kw’okwegondeza, omukoonyezi agonza omumulingo oguhikire.
Nk’abakoonyezi, Ruhanga atwesire OKUFA HA bantu hatali KUBAROLERA. Mubyahandikirwe, ebika bimu eby’abantu nubyo bisemeriire OKUROLERWA kandi mubanu nubo enfuuzi hamu n’enfaakati ( Yakobo 1:27).

MCHEZO WA MAISHA V: WASAIDIZI

Yohana 8:10-11; Yesu akajiinua asimwone mtu ila yule mwanamke, akamwambia, Mwanamke, wako wapi wale washitaki wako? Je! Hakuna aliyekuhukumu kuwa na hatia? Akamwambia, Hakuna, Bwana. Yesu akamwambia, Wala mimi sikuhukumu. Enenda zako; wala usitende dhambi tena.
Mungu ametuita kuwa wasaidizi, sio wawezeshaji. Ilhali mwezeshaji hujisimamia mwenyewe katika upendo wake, msaidizi hupenda kwa njia safi zaidi.
Kama wasaidizi, Mungu ametuita KUWAJALI watu wala sio KUWAJALIA. Katika maandiko, makundi maalum ya watu yanapaswa KUJALIWA na hawa ni yatima na wajane (Yakobo 1:27).
Wakristo wengi wana hisia za hisani zilizopinduliwa. Wao ni kama atlasi ya hadithi iliyo na ulimwengu wote mabegani pake. Wanakazana na mizigo ambayo Mungu hajawaagiza kubeba.
Upendo, kama unavyoeleweka kwa Mungu, unahitaji kwamba TUWAJALI watu kama wasaidizi. Wasaidizi hawatarajii uwategemee. Wakati Kristo alimponya yule mtu katika ziwa la Bethesda, mafundisho yalikuwa, “simama, jitwike godoro lako, uende” (Yohana 5:8). Maagizo hayakuwa, “chukua godoro lako uje ukae nami sasa maana nimekuponya.”
Wasaidizi wanahitaji uwajibikaji na uadilifu mkubwa kutoka kwa wanaowajali. Katika andiko letu kuu, Kristo anamwambia mwanamke aliyechukuliwa katika uzinzi, “Nenda zako, wala usitende dhambi tena.” Kama msaidizi, matunda ya kazi yako ya upendo lazima yaonekane kwa mtu mwingine unayemsaidia na hii inafanikiwa kupitia kuhitaji kuwajibika na kuadilika kwa maisha yao.
Mungu anatutaka tuupanulie ulimwengu upendo na neema. Walakini, anatutarajia tufanye hivyo kwa hekima, maarifa na ufahamu, sio kama wawezeshaji bali kama wasaidizi.
