Apostle Grace Lubega
Matthew 1:23 (KJV); Behold, a virgin shall be with child, and shall bring forth a son, and they shall call his name Emmanuel, which being interpreted is, God with us.
The birth of Christ reminds us that God is with us.
As Christians, our greatest assurance is that we do not live Godless in this world. The creator of heaven and earth is with us and is for us.
Why are these convictions of Emmanuel so important?
In 2 Kings 18:7, the Bible says of King Hezekiah, “And the LORD was with him; and he prospered whithersoever he went forth”. It means that because God is with us, prosperity is our portion in Christ.
In Acts 10:38, the scriptures say of Christ, “How God anointed Jesus of Nazareth with the Holy Ghost and with power: who went about doing good, and healing all that were oppressed of the devil; for God was with him.”
When God is with a man, that man does good everywhere he goes. The convictions of Emmanuel remind us that we are answers to people’s prayers.
Never live your life like a person who does not have God with him. In all your pursuits and labours, remind yourself that God is with you. He prospers you and makes you an answer to many. Hallelujah!

PRAYER: Loving Father, I thank You for this truth. I am not alone! I live my life fully aware of this truth. I serve and help those around me, not by my own strength but with the consciousness that You are with me. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
