Apostle Grace Lubega
John 16:23 (KJV); And in that day ye shall ask me nothing. Verily, verily, I say unto you, Whatsoever ye shall ask the Father in my name, he will give it you.
The right way to pray is to the Father.
The Father, Son and the Spirit are one. This is the Holy Trinity.
However, their functions are different. If this was not the case, Jesus would not have instructed the Church to ask Him of nothing but to instead ask the Father.
Some people pray to Jesus Christ and others pray to the Holy Spirit. That is the wrong way to pray and is the reason some people do not receive answers to their prayers.
You may have been praying to Jesus and the Holy Spirit and received answers. But ignorance can be tolerated for only a while. God expects you to grow, mature and understand how He works.
In Acts 17:30, the Bible says, “And the times of this ignorance God winked at, but now commandeth all men everywhere to repent.”
Repentance is a change of mindset. God is calling upon you to change your mindset and pray the right way. Your prayer should be to the Father, through Jesus Christ.
Praise His name!

GOLDEN NUGGET: The right way to pray is to the Father, through Jesus Christ.
PRAYER: Loving Father, I thank You for this knowledge. I thank You because every day, You draw me into a deeper relationship with You. I hear Your voice and behold Your face. As I fellowship with You daily, I see You more plainly, in Jesus’ name, Amen.
