Apostle Grace Lubega
Mark 16:17-18 (KJV); And these signs shall follow them that believe; In my name shall they cast out devils; they shall speak with new tongues; They shall take up serpents; and if they drink any deadly thing, it shall not hurt them; they shall lay hands on the sick, and they shall recover.
There are things that God has ordained to follow you.
The reason why some Christians are seeking for these things that must follow them is outlined in our theme scripture. They do not believe.
Did He say that these things shall follow those that pray endlessly for them? No.
Did He say that these things shall follow those who spend forty days and nights fasting for them? No.
He said that these things shall follow those that believe.
This does not mean that prayer and fasting is wrong. It means that every time a man tries to seek what must follow him, that man is exercising unbelief because he has not received the truth in his spirit that these things must follow him.
What makes some prayers futile? Why do some Christians spend years praying for the same thing and never quite receiving the answers?
It is because some of these prayers are nothing more than an exercise in unbelief.
God does not expect you to live your life in pursuit of what must follow you. He wants you to simply receive it by faith.

GOLDEN NUGGET: God does not expect you to live your life in pursuit of what must follow you. He wants you to simply receive it by faith.
PRAYER: Father, I thank You for this knowledge. I thank You because You build me in faith every day. The Bible says that all things are possible to them that believe and I believe. Signs, miracles and wonders are the pattern of my life. They happen with ease because I am a believer. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
