Apostle Grace Lubega
Philippians 3:14 (KJV); I press toward the mark for the prize of the high calling of God in Christ Jesus.
It is an unfortunate fact that some people’s pursuit of God is marked by the desire for personal gain. They seek Him for what His hand can give and not what His heart can reveal.
If your vision of what God can do is narrowed to the material possessions you can receive, you will never understand the high calling of God in Christ Jesus.
What is this high calling?
It is the highest conviction a man can have about divine purpose in his generation. This is what the Lord is continually inviting us to.
Are you seeking God to understand what He wants to do in our times? Do you desire to know His plans for our generation? Do you wish to see the unveiling of His desires for the Church?
Is this what preoccupies your prayer time?
Paul sought the high calling and laid the foundation of the gospel. Peter sought the high calling and opened the door of the gospel to the Gentiles. John sought the high calling and gave the world the revelation of Jesus Christ.
The high calling is found by men who are attentive to the heartbeat of God.

GOLDEN NUGGET: The high calling is found by men who are attentive to the heartbeat of God. It is the highest conviction a man can have about divine purpose in his generation.
PRAYER: My loving Father, I thank You for this word. Thank You for what You are doing in these times and for the great mandate that heaven has placed upon the Church in this generation. I refuse to live my life ignorant of Your desires and purposes. I am a seeker of Your will concerning these times and dispensation, in Jesus’ name, Amen.
