God requires that we function in the five senses of the spiritual man. The spiritual man can see, hear, feel, smell, touch and taste.
In Hebrews 6:5, the Bible speaks of those that have tasted the good Word of God. This was a spiritual and not physical kind of tasting.
In our theme scripture, John employs other spiritual senses in how he relates with the Word of life. He says that they heard it, saw it with their eyes and their hands handled it.
It is a form of spiritual disability to function by only one or a few of the senses in the realm of spirits. Like a man can be deaf or blind physically, so it is in the spiritual realm.
As long as any one of the senses is not working, you are limited.
You must exercise yourself to function in all the five senses because nothing activates the anointing like a man operating in the spiritual senses. Learn how men see, hear, smell, taste and touch spiritually.

Mungu anahitaji kwamba tutende katika milango mitano ya fahamu ya mwanadamu wa kiroho. Mtu wa kiroho anaweza kuona, kusikia, kuhisi, kunusa, kugusa na kuonja.
Katika Waebrania 6:5, Biblia inazungumzia wale ambao wameonja Neno zuri la Mungu. Hii ilikuwa aina ya kiroho ya kuonja na si ya kimwili.
Katika andiko letu kuu, Yohana anatumia milango mingine ya fahamu za kiroho katika jinsi anavyohusiana na Neno la uzima. Anasema kwamba walilisikia, waliliona kwa macho yao na mikono yao ikalipapasa.
Ni aina ya ulemavu wa kiroho kutenda kwa mlango mmoja wa fahamu tu au milango michache ya fahamu katika ulimwengu wa roho. Kama vile mtu anaweza kuwa kiziwi au kipofu kimwili, ndivyo ilivyo katika ulimwengu wa kiroho.
