Mark 4:39 (KJV): And he arose, and rebuked the wind, and said unto the sea, Peace, be still. And the wind ceased, and there was a great calm.

The voice of God can calm any storm. The Bible says in Psalm 107:29, He makes the storm calm so that the waves thereof are still.
It does not matter how much the seas may rage and how high the tides may be, His voice is enough. At that voice, everything that is out of balance comes to order.
If you are in the middle of a storm, I urge you to listen to His voice. That situation is still a storm because you have not yet heard Him.
The greatest troubles in life are because people have not heard God.
I imagine there is a Christian who has spoken to friend after friend about his problem but the waves are still beating against his boat. He has ignored the voice of the Lord.
A dear lady has moved from counselor to counselor, trying to keep her marriage from crashing against the rocks of divorce but she has not found an answer. The question to her is; Has she heard the voice of Him that joined her in Holy Matrimony?
It is possible that sometimes, the many voices you might be listening to will add to the noise of the waves. You need ONE voice–the voice of God. The waves and winds recognize it. Hallelujah!
