2 Peter 1:5-6(KJV); And beside this, giving all diligence, add to your faith virtue; and to virtue knowledge; And to knowledge temperance; and to temperance patience; and to patience godliness;
In the exercise and pursuit of temperance, learn the immeasurable value of patience.
In the place of mastery, where self-control and discipline are demanded, some are only too quick to give up because they are wanting in patience.
But you must heed the urging of the scripture, that to temperance, ADD patience.
If, for example, you are exercising yourself in the discipline of a life of prayer, don’t throw in the towel because the results you seek have not yet been manifested. It is never in vain. God is faithful!
If you exercise self-control in how you deal with the authorities in your life: do not lash back even when you are ill-treated but rather act with integrity to ensure progress of the company you’re working for. Even when no one recognises it, do not lose heart, keep at it, favour will eventually find you.
Patience is a virtue of masters.
It is the fruit of the Spirit in You(Galatians 5:22).
Remember that by nature, you are not of them that drawback to perdition but those who endure to the saving of the soul.

Omu kwemanyiiza n’okusherura okwerinda, yega omugasho gw’okugumisiriza ogutarikupimwa.
Omu mwanya gw’obukuru, ahu okwerinda n’emicwe erikwetagwa, abamwe nibarahuka kuhwa amaani ahabw’okuba tibaine kugumisiriza.
Kwonka noteekwa kuta omutima ahaki ekyahandiikirwe kirikugamba, ngu aha kwerinda, MWONGYEREHO okugumisiriza.
Eky’okureeberaho, ku orikuba noyemanyiiza emicwe y’amagara g’okushaba, otahwa amaani ebyaana ebi orikusherura byaaba bitakareebekire. Nikuba kutari kwabusha. Ruhanga nomwesigwa!
