A lot of people grow up thinking that the only way to have financial security is to get a job, work hard, and collect a salary. And while working at a job, business or whatever profession makes you money is important, God wants you to think bigger. He wants you to think in terms of inheritance and not just wages.
In Romans 8:17, the Bible says we are heirs of God and joint heirs with Christ.
Can you imagine for a minute what it means to be an heir of God? You have access to all the treasures of His wisdom, earthly and heavenly riches, unexplored ideas and undiscovered resources.
Understanding this will deliver you from dependence on a pay cheque.
In fact, with this knowledge, God can elevate you to a point where you are wealthier than your employer. You should not be limited to a monthly salary because as an heir you are connected to heaven’s supply.
Embrace an inheritance mindset because with it, you can build things that are much bigger than what your pay cheque can afford.
No matter how small your current salary is, think like a child of God. Believe that you can own businesses, build solutions spanning continents and leave a legacy that is greater than your current job.
That is the mind of an heir.
