Apostle Grace Lubega
Proverbs 10:16 (KJV): “The labour of the righteous tendeth to life: the fruit of the wicked to sin.”

Labor can be either godly or ungodly. Godly labor—work aligned with the Lord’s will and purposes—tends toward life. But what does this truly mean?
God never intended for you to lose your life for the sake of your career. Yet, many people “die” in various ways because their labor is disconnected from God’s divine order. When work becomes an idol or an unchecked master, the consequences are devastating:
Physical Exhaustion: Some are worked into the ground, developing chronic illnesses born from constant pressure and stress, eventually finding themselves on a premature deathbed.
Family Loss: There are women who have suffered miscarriages due to intense workplace strain. Marriages often wither when work consumes all time, energy, and emotional presence.
Legacy at Risk: Others lose their children to the perversions of this world or the grip of addiction because their professional lives left no room for intentional parenting.
This is not God’s design, and it should not be your story. Your work should produce provision without destruction, progress without loss, and success without the sacrifice of your family, health, or faith.
Godly labor sustains life. Your family should thrive because of your work, not in spite of it. Your body should remain healthy as you labor. You must never forfeit your destiny for the sake of a job. Hallelujah!

GOLDEN NUGGET: Your work should produce provision without destruction, progress without loss, and success without the sacrifice of family, health, or faith. Godly labor does not just provide; it sustains life.
PRAYER: Father God, thank You for this word. I receive wisdom to discern godly labor and the grace to reject work that destroys life. You align my endeavors with Your will, so that my work produces life, peace, and fruitfulness. You guard my health, my family, and my faith as I work. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
