Deuteronomy 34:7(KJV); And Moses was an hundred and twenty years old when he died: his eye was not dim, nor his natural force abated
Moses did not suffer from the effects of old age; at one hundred and twenty years, his strength was not abated and his eyesight was not dimmed. This was because he experienced great levels of the presence of God and of the anointing. At one point, the Bible reveals that Moses spent eighty consecutive days in the presence of God(Exodus 24-34).
If the presence of God can have such an effect and impact on a human body, think about how much more it can affect your spirit.
If physical strength can fail to abate, the same can be said of spiritual strength. If physical sight can fail to dim, the same can happen to spiritual sight.
There are Christians whose strength in salvation has abated over the years and whose spiritual vision has weakened with the passing of time. When they were younger, they were fire-spitting, tongue-speaking, demon-chasing zealous Christians. As they grew older, they became cynical towards the things of God and now live as men betrayed by the things they once believed.
When they had just become Born Again, they enjoyed multiple experiences in the presence of God but with the passage of the years, they cannot recall the last time they heard the voice of God. They draw water from brooks that dried early and speak with voices that have no spiritual sound or significance.
This is sad.
When you become a lover of the presence of God, your relevance as a spiritual force grows stronger with the years. His presence matures the anointing upon your life and matures you in the very anointing.
His presence preserves your legacy and ensures that your name is not relegated to the back pages of history even with the coming of future generations.
