Apostle Grace Lubega
Deuteronomy 34:7(KJV); And Moses was an hundred and twenty years old when he died: his eye was not dim, nor his natural force abated
I asked the Lord why Moses lived up to one hundred and twenty years without his strength abating and his eyesight dimming by reason of old age. He told me that this was because Moses was exposed to such a great intensity of the presence of God that his body could not suffer the negative effects of old age.
In this life, there are people aging tragically and those aging gracefully; there are forty-year-olds in sixty-year-old bodies and sixty-year-olds in forty-year-old bodies. While different people may employ varying methods to cling to the freshness of youth, one infallible fact is that the presence of God can preserve you in this freshness.
Who said age must bend your back, rob your eyesight, crack your voice and deprive you of youthful strength? Who said you must buckle under the diseases of age such as arthritis, dementia and presbyopia? Moses proved to us that it is possible to advance in years yet retain the vitality of youth.
In Psalms 103:5, the Bible says that the Lord renews our youth like the eagle’s. The anointing has the ability to wipe years off your face and push back the vagaries of old age.
Trust God to keep you! His presence will impart endless strength, continually sharpen your vision and preserve your mind.
His name be praised!

PRAYER: Loving Father, I thank You for this knowledge. What a delight and blessed assurance to know that I am kept by You. I am stronger today than I was yesterday. I will be stronger in years to come than I am today because I am a lover of Your presence. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
