Apostle Grace Lubega
Acts 14:19–21 (NKJV): “Then Jews from Antioch and Iconium came there; and having persuaded the multitudes, they stoned Paul and dragged him out of the city, supposing him to be dead. However, when the disciples gathered around him, he rose up and went into the city. And the next day he departed with Barnabas to Derbe. And when they had preached the gospel to that city and made many disciples, they returned to Lystra, Iconium, and Antioch.”

In our theme scripture, Paul was beaten so badly and left for dead. But the Bible says when the disciples stood around him, he got up.
The next day, Paul didn’t run away to hide. He didn’t say, “I’m done.” He went to another city and kept preaching.
Paul teaches us something powerful: Don’t give up when things get hard.
Some people stop doing what’s right because they get tired of being misunderstood, attacked, or rejected. They start thinking, “Why even bother?” Always remember this: You are not just doing it for yourself. You are doing it for God—and for others who are watching your life.
Let Paul’s life shout something into your spirit: If they stone you, preach again. If they mock you, love again. If they doubt you, believe again. If life knocks you down—get up. Dust yourself off. And go again.
Your persistence is proof that God’s call on your life is stronger than any setback. Keep moving forward.

GOLDEN NUGGET: If they stone you, preach again. If they mock you, love again. If they doubt you, believe again. If life knocks you down—get up. Dust yourself off. And go again. Your persistence is proof that God’s call on your life is stronger than any setback.
PRAYER: Father God, thank You for the strength to stand in the midst of adversity. I am not the kind that draws back. Regardless of what life throws at me, I will not give in, I will not surrender to the enemy! I am strong. I keep pushing forward because I know who is on my side. You fill me with boldness to keep doing what is right. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
