Apostle Grace Lubega
John 10:27 (KJV); My sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow me:
The Lord, through our theme scripture, points us to one fundamental attribute of the New Testament believer–he hears God.
The language of the scripture is very deliberate. It does not say that His sheep should hear His voice; His sheep can hear His voice or that His sheep might hear His voice. It says, “My sheep hear my voice.”
This means that it is your nature to hear God.
Some Christians struggle to hear God because they have not understood this truth.
They assume that hearing God is a privilege that is reserved for the ‘holiest’ or for the great men and women of God.
If the devil can hear God and even speak back to Him (Job 1), how much more you, child of God?
Are you His sheep?
You hear God.

PRAYER: Loving Father, I thank You for this truth. Thank You for opening my eyes to the knowledge of who I am in You. I am Your sheep. I hear You with clarity and always understand You when You speak, in Jesus’ name, Amen.
