Romans 1:11 (KJV); For I long to see you, that I may impart unto you some spiritual gift, to the end ye may be established
God has ordained a number of ways to receive from Him. One of these ways is receiving from His ministers. If you receive FROM a minister of God, you receive graces pertaining to your destiny. This is the essence of spiritual impartations.
Paul tells Timothy in 1 Timothy 4:14, “Neglect not the gift that is in thee, which was given thee by prophecy, with the LAYING ON OF HANDS of the presbytery.”
In 2 Timothy 1:6, Paul still tells Timothy, “Wherefore I put thee in remembrance that thou stir up the gift of God, which is in thee by the PUTTING ON OF MY HANDS.” There was a grace at work in Timothy which came to be because he had received from those men of God who the scripture called the presbytery. There was also a further grace that came to him because Paul had laid hands on him.
The pattern of receiving is also seen in Deuteronomy 34:9, the Bible says of Joshua, “And Joshua the son of Nun was full of the spirit of wisdom; for MOSES HAD LAID HIS HANDS UPON HIM.”
In our theme scripture, Paul tells the Church at Rome, “For I long to see you, that I may impart unto you some spiritual gift…” Why did he not tell the Church to “pray and fast hard and receive this spiritual gift?” It is enlightening to realise that there are things that God will pass on to you only through another man or a woman. It is a principle He has set in the spirit.
This is a truth you must learn to acknowledge with all humility. Never let pride send you on a quest for what you can receive merely by opening your spirit to what God has placed on the lips and in the hands of His ministers.

PRAYER: Loving Father, I thank You for this knowledge. I know and honour those that You have set before me. I know how to receive from them because this is not just a pattern, it is a principle of spiritual growth. You bend and break me every day with this truth. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

JINSI YA KUPOKEA KUTOKA KWA WATUMISHI WA MUNGU – 1

Warumi 1:11 (KJV); Kwa maana ninatamani sana kuwaona, nipate kuwapa karama ya rohoni, ili mfanywe imara
Mungu ameweka njia kadhaa za kupokea kutoka Kwake. Mojawapo ya njia hizi ni kupokea kutoka kwa watumishi Wake. Ukipokea KUTOKA kwa mtumishi wa Mungu, unapokea neema zinazohusu hatima yako. Hii ndio kiini cha kupokea karama ya rohoni.
Paulo anamwambia Timotheo katika 1 Timotheo 4:14, “Usiache kutumia karama ile iliyomo ndani yako, uliyopewa kwa unabii, na kwa KUWEKEWA MIKONO YA MIKONO ya wazee.”
Katika 2 Timotheo 1: 6, Paulo bado anamwambia Timotheo, “Kwa sababu hiyo nakukumbusha, uichochee karama ya Mungu, iliyo ndani yako kwa KUWEKEWA MIKONO YANGU.” Kulikuwa na neema iliyofanya kazi katika Timotheo ambayo iliyofanyika kuwa kwa sababu alikuwa amepokea kutoka kwa wale watu wa Mungu ambao andiko liliwaita wazee. Kulikuwa na neema zaidi iliyomjia kwa sababu Paulo alikuwa amemwekea mikono.
Mfano wa kupokea unaonekana pia katika Kumbukumbu la Torati 34: 9, Biblia inasema juu ya Yoshua, “Na Yoshua mwana wa Nuni alikuwa amejaa roho ya hekima; maana MUSA ALIKUWA AMEMWEKEA MIKONO YAKE JUU YAKE. “
Katika andiko letu kuu, Paulo anaambia Kanisa la Roma, “Kwa maana ninatamani sana kuwaona, nipate kuwapa karama rohoni, ili mfanywe imara…” Kwa nini hakuambia Kanisa “muombe na kufunga kwa bidii ili mpokee zawadi hii ya kiroho? ” Inafahamisha kutambua kwamba kuna vitu ambavyo Mungu atakupa tu kupitia mwanamume mwingine au mwanamke mwingine. Ni kanuni ambayo ameweka katika roho.
Hii ni kweli ambayo lazima ujifunze kuikubali kwa unyenyekevu wote. Kamwe usiruhusu kiburi kukutuma kwenye utaftaji wa kile unaweza kupokea kwa kufungua roho yako kwa kile ambacho Mungu ameweka kwenye midomo na mikono ya watumishi Wake.
MASOMO YA ZIADA: 2 Timotheo 1:6, Kumbukumbu la Torati 34:9
UJUMBE MKUU: Kuna vitu ambavyo Mungu atakupa tu kupitia kwa mwanamume mwingine au mwanamke mwingine. Ni kanuni ambayo ameweka katika roho. Kamwe usiruhusu kiburi kukutuma kwenye utaftaji wa kile unaweza kupokea kwa kufungua roho yako kwa kile ambacho Mungu ameweka kwenye midomo na mikono ya watumishi Wake.
SALA: Baba Mpenzi, ninakushukuru kwa maarifa haya. Ninawajua na kuwaheshimu wale ambao umeweka mbele yangu. Ninajua jinsi ya kupokea kutoka kwao kwa sababu hii sio mfano tu, ni kanuni ya ukuaji wa kiroho. Unanipinda na kunivunja kila siku na ukweli huu. Katika jina la Yesu, Amina.
