Apostle Grace Lubega
Psalm 107:20 (KJV); He sent his word, and healed them, and delivered them from their destructions.
Somewhere on this earth, there is a child of God who is despairing over the fact that God is not speaking to him or her. He or she is complaining about the fact that God is so silent regardless of how much they have tried to get Him to speak or how hard they have tried to hear Him.
Is God silent? Has He gone mute?
Well, the God that I know and serve is very loud. In His Word. Through the verses, chapters and books of the scriptures, He is speaking.
If you think God is silent, I implore you to look to the Word.
Most likely, your problem is that you are waiting for a spectacular way for Him to speak. You want a loud voice to thunder from the heavens and assure you that He is with you.
If you are waiting for a special voice, you might wait for a really long time.
In the Word, He tells us what we should do about our health, our ministries, our businesses, our marriages, our children, our bad-tempered bosses or our bad-mouthing colleagues.
Through the pages of the Bible, the voice of God echoes through the ages, telling us what to do and which way we should go.

PRAYER: Loving Father, I thank You for this truth. Your Word is a lamp unto my feet and a light unto my path. I know how important Your Word is. It is not just a collection of stories, it is Your voice ministering to me and consuming every area of my life. To the glory of Your name, Amen.
