Apostle Grace Lubega
Hebrews 2: 1 (AMPC); Since all this is true, we ought to pay much closer attention than ever to the truths that we have heard, lest in any way we drift past [them] and slip away.
Oftentimes, when people listen to a teaching, they feel all charged up and ready to face the world. They are full of faith and ooze divine energy. They consider themselves immovable, indomitable, and unconquerable.
Sadly, this admirable resolve rarely survives initial impact with the enemy. The moment life strikes a blow like it sometimes does, the truth they have heard develops wings and flies out of their lives.
They become leaking vessels. Our theme scripture says that these truths start to slip away.
The apostle Paul tells us that because all these things are true, never allow yourself to leak simply because the going got rough. The reason we leak is that we take our eyes off what God has spoken through His Word and instead focus on circumstances.
It is true that you are more than a conqueror. It is true that you are the head and not the tail. It is true that greater is He that is in you than the devil in the world. It is true that you are above and not beneath.
Never let yourself become a leaking vessel. If the fire burns too hot, go back to the Word and remind yourself over and over what the truth is. If the storm rages too much, stick it out with the Word but never leak.

GOLDEN NUGGET: Never let yourself become a leaking vessel. If the fire burns too hot, go back to the Word and remind yourself over and over what the truth is. If the storm rages too much, stick it out with the Word but never leak.
PRAYER: Father, I thank You for this knowledge. Your Word dwells richly in my heart and my spirit. It is ever on my lips and constantly on my mind. No matter the circumstance, I stick to the truth of the scriptures because therein is true victory. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
