Apostle Grace Lubega
Proverbs 1:20-23(KJV); Wisdom crieth without; she uttereth her voice in the streets: She crieth in the chief place of concourse, in the openings of the gates: in the city she uttereth her words, saying, How long, ye simple ones, will ye love simplicity? and the scorners delight in their scorning, and fools hate knowledge? Turn you at my reproof: behold, I will pour out my spirit unto you, I will make known my words unto you.
Wisdom asks a profound question in our theme scripture, “how long ye simple ones will ye love simplicity?”
Simplicity comes in many forms but in a generation that sometimes misunderstands the grace message, it comes in the form of men and women that reject the principles of God but somehow expect to walk in His blessings.
For example, it is simplicity to expect to attract wealth yet abuse every principle by which it comes: like paying your tithes or giving to the poor.
It is simplicity to expect promotion at work because you are a child of God yet be sloppy in your performance and never make an effort to meet deadlines.
It is simplicity to expect growth in business yet never apply yourself to excellence and diligence.
It is simplicity to expect growth in ministry yet never serve as one who must grow.
Naivety should not be mistaken for faith. You must continually remember that God is a GOD OF PRINCIPLES. He has laid out in His Word, the HOW’S of growth in ministry, in career, in business and in every area of our lives.
His name be praised!
