Apostle Grace Lubega
John 17:16 (KJV): “They are not of the world, even as I am not of the world.”

We live in a time when children are constantly exposed to all kinds of messages. Today, some cartoon shows are compromised, certain music promotes rebellion, and much of modern fashion does not reflect godly values.
As a parent, your role is not only to shield your children from such influences but also to guide them with wisdom and truth.
For example, if your child sees something confusing, such as a same-sex couple raising a child in a cartoon, it is not enough to simply switch it off or change the channel. Sit them down and open the Scriptures. Say, “This is what the world shows, but here is what God says.”
If your child sees someone dressed indecently, use the Bible to teach them why modesty matters. When they witness rebellion, tell them, “Did you see what that boy said to his mother? That’s not honoring your parents as the Bible teaches.”
The truth is, you may never be able to completely shield your children from every ungodly influence. But when you take this approach to parenting, you raise children who understand that while they are in this world, they are not of it. You train them to consistently choose God and His principles in every situation.

GOLDEN NUGGET: Raise children to understand that while they are in this world, they are not of it. Train them to consistently choose God and His principles in every situation.
PRAYER: Loving Father, thank You for the blessing of children. Thank You for the wisdom and patience to parent according to Your Word. I lovingly guide my children in truth and understanding. By Your grace, I know how to speak when I must, and how to always point them back to You. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
