Apostle Grace Lubega
Hebrews 12:2(KJV); Looking unto Jesus the author and finisher of our faith; who for the joy that was set before him endured the cross, despising the shame, and is set down at the right hand of the throne of God.
Sometimes Christians struggle to believe God because they author their faith.
However, the Bible is clear that our faith has an author, it is our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ.
In Galatians 2:20, Paul says, “I am crucified with Christ: nevertheless I live; yet not I, but Christ liveth in me: and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by the faith of the Son of God, who loved me, and gave himself for me.”
He does not speak of faith in the son but the faith of the son.
The faith authored by Christ stirs our actions to align to the word. It is not built on our own human abilities, but by the grace of God.
It is established in the love of God, as we yield to him in his power and faithfulness.
The secret is to learn to yield more and more to his will by applying ourselves to the word.

PRAYER: Father, I thank You for this truth. I live by faith. Not my own faith but the God-kind of faith. By this faith, I do mighty exploits because I rest in the greater one who lives in me. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
