Acts 16:16-18 (KJV); And it came to pass, as we went to prayer, a certain damsel possessed with a spirit of divination met us, which brought her masters much gain by soothsaying: The same followed Paul and us, and cried, saying, These men are the servants of the most high God, which shew unto us the way of salvation. And this did she many days. But Paul, being grieved, turned and said to the spirit, I command thee in the name of Jesus Christ to come out of her. And he came out the same hour.
The ability to distinguish voices in the realm of the spirit is a mark of a mature Christian.
Simply because individuals speak similarly does not mean that they have the same language in the realm of spirits.
Many people judge similarity based on speech and never on language. Such people can easily be misled by the enemy.
For example, in our theme scripture, the girl with the spirit of divination was accurate in her speech. What she said about Paul and his colleagues was true. They were servants of the Most High and they had come to show men the way of salvation.
If she was right, why did Paul rebuke the spirit out of her?
Because he was a man who knew the difference between voices. Despite her accuracy, this was the voice of the devil. It takes great wisdom to tell the difference.
I urge you to listen to more than just speech, listen to the language too. By language, we distinguish voices in the realm of the spirit.

Oyo bwe yagoberera Pawulo naffe n’ayogerera waggulu ng’agamba nti, “Abantu bano baddu ba Katonda Ali waggulu ennyo, abababuulira ekkubo ery’obulokozi.” N’akolanga bw’atyo ennaku nnyingi. Naye Pawulo, bwe yanakuwala ennyo, n’akyuka n’agamba dayimooni nti, “Nkulagira mu linnya lya Yesu Kristo muveeko.” N’amuvaako mu kiseera ekyo.
Obusobozi obw’okwawula amaloboozi mu nsi ey’omwoyo kabonero akalaga omukristaayo akuze.
Olw’okubeera nti abantu boogera mu ngeri y’emu tekitegeeza nti balina olulimi lwe lumu mu nsi ey’emyoyo.
Abantu bangi balamula okussa ekimu nga basinziira ku bigambo so ssi lulimi. Abantu bwe batyo bakyamizibwa mangu omulabe.
Eky’okulabirako, ekyawandiikibwa kyaffe ekigguddewo, omuwala eyalina omwoyo ogw’obulaguzi yali mutuufu mu bigambo bye. Bye yayogera eri Pawulo ne banne byali bituufu. Baali baweereza Katonda asinga waggulu era baali bazze kulaga bantu ekkubo ery’obulokozi.
Bw’abeera nga yali mutuufu, lwaki Pawulo yagoba omwoyo gumuveemu?
Kubanga yali musajja eyali amanyi enjawulo mu maloboozi. Ng’oggyeko obutuufu bw’omuwala, lino lyali ddoboozi lya sitaani. Kitwala amagezi mangi okumanya enjawulo.
Nkukubiriza okuwuliriza ennyo okusingako ku bigambo, olulimi nalwo luwulirize. Ku lw’olulimi twawula amaloboozi mu nsi ey’omwoyo.

Ebyakozirwe Entumwa 16:16-18; Ku twabaire nituza omuri ogwo mwanya gw’okushabiramu, twabuganwa omuzaana oriho daimoni orikuragura, owaabaire atungisa bakama be munonga n’emikimbo ei yaabaire akimbirwa. Omuzaana ogwo yaakuratira Paulo naitwe, naayamuza n’eiraka rihango ati: Abashaija aba n’abahuuku ba Ruhanga Rukira-boona; nibabamanyisa omuhanda gw’okujunwa. Yaaguma naakora atyo ebiro bingi. Paulo, ku yaatamirwe, yaahinduka, yaagira daimoni ati: Ninkuragiira omu iziina rya Yesu Kristo, murugyeho. Daimoni yaamurugaho omuri ako kaanya.
Okubaasa kutaanisa amaraka omunsi y’omwoyo n’akamanyiso karikworeka omukristaayo mukuru nari okuzire.
Okugira ngu ahabw’okuba abantu nibagamba omu muringo gumwe tikirikumanyisa ngu baine orurimi rumwe omunsi y’emyoyo.
Abantu baingi nibareebera enshusha omu ngamba rutari rurimi. Abantu nkaabo nibarahuka kubaihwa omuzigu.

Ku araabe yabaire ahikire, ahabw’enki Paulo yabingire omwoyo kumurugamu?
Ahabw’okuba akaba ari omuntu orikumanya entaaniso eri omu maraka. Oihireho kuba ahikire, eri rikaba riri eiraka rya sitaane. Nikitwaara obwengye bwingi kumanya entaaniso.

Abantu baingi bamanyirra obuzaale nibarorra hambaza baitu tibarora rulimi. Abantu nk’abo banguha kuhabibwa omunyanzigwa.
Ekyokurorraho, omukyahandikirwe kyaitu eky’omutwe, omuzaana owanyina omwoyo wokuragura akaba ahikire mumbazaye. Ekiyagambireho Paulo gaali mazima. Baali bahereza ba Ruhanga kandi bakaba baizire kwoleka abantu omuhanda gw’okujunwa.
Obwaraaba akaba ahikire, habwaki Paulo yacoomiire omwoyo ngu gumurugemu?
Habwokuba akaba ali musaija owamanyire embaganiza omu maraka. Nobukiraaba ngu akaba ahikire, linu likaba liri iraka lya setani. Nikitwara amagezi g’ekika kyahaiguru kumanya embaganiza.
Ninkusaba kuhuliiriza okuhingura habigambo, hurra n’orulimi. N’orulimi, twahukaniza amaraka omunsi y’omwoyo.

Matendo 16:16-18 (KJV); Ikawa tulipokuwa tukienda mahali pale pa kusali, kijakazi mmoja aliyekuwa na pepo wa uaguzi akatukuta, aliyewapatia bwana zake faida nyingi kwa kuagua.Akamfuata Paulo na sisi akipiga kelele, akisema, Watu hawa ni watumishi wa Mungu aliye juu, wenye kuwahubiria njia ya wokovu.Akafanya hayo siku nyingi. Lakini Paulo akasikitika, akageuka akamwambia yule pepo, Nakuamuru kwa jina la Yesu Kristo, mtoke huyu. Akamtoka saa ile ile.
Uwezo wa kutofautisha sauti katika ulimwengu wa roho ni alama ya Mkristo aliyekomaa.
Kwa sababu tu watu wanazungumza kwa usawa haimaanishi kwamba wana lugha moja katika ulimwengu wa roho.
Watu wengi huhukumu kufanana kulingana na usemi na kamwe sio kwa lugha. Watu kama hao wanaweza kupotoshwa kwa urahisi na adui.
Kwa mfano, katika andiko letu kuu, msichana mwenye roho ya uaguzi alikuwa sahihi katika usemi wake. Alichosema kuhusu Paul na wenzake kilikuwa kweli. Walikuwa watumishi wa Aliye Juu Zaidi na walikuwa wamekuja kuwaonyesha watu njia ya wokovu.
Ikiwa alikuwa sahihi, kwa nini Paulo alikemea roho kutoka kwake?
Kwa sababu alikuwa mtu anayejua tofauti kati ya sauti. Licha ya usahihi wake, hii ilikuwa sauti ya shetani. Inachukua hekima kubwa kutofautisha.
Nakusihi usikilize zaidi ya hotuba tu, usikilize lugha pia. Kwa lugha, tunatofautisha sauti katika ulimwengu wa roho.
