Apostle Grace Lubega
Genesis 1:27 (KJV); So God created man in his own image, in the image of God created he him; male and female created he them.
Insecurity is a rope many people can hang themselves with. They are insecure about their skin colour, height, eyes, nose, lips, nails, social status and many other things concerning their lives.
You were created in the image of the Most High God. The spirit of insecurity corrupts this image and gives you its own idea of how you should appear in the sight of others.
To anyone struggling with insecurity, I ask, “who told you, you were ugly? Who told you, you are not tall enough? Who told you, you are not light-skinned enough? Who told you?”
You were fearfully and wonderfully made (Psalm 139:14).
Was God stupid in giving you a dark skin that you fancy yourself so wise as to find means of making your skin shades lighter? Was God so artless in His creation of you that you feel the need to correct His own dimensions of your lips, nose and hips?
Making these alterations to your body is proof that you do not know God. Appreciate what He gave you. Shut out the voice of insecurity telling you that you are not enough.

PRAYER: Loving Father, I thank You for who I am. Thank You for my eyes, lips, skin, hair, nails, shape and every single inch of my body. Every time I look into a mirror, I see the image of God reflected back at me. I am the perfection of beauty in Zion and rejoice in who You have made me, in Jesus’ name, Amen.
