Apostle Grace Lubega

In spiritual warfare, the first thing we must connect to is truth.
It is a sad fact that the moment some people hear bad news, they rush into battle mode against the enemy without firstly applying themselves to the truth. The result is that they pray out of desperation and panic and not the revelation of God’s power that is available to save them.
Prudence requires that you ask yourself, ‘what is the truth of God concerning this situation?’
When you know the truth, then you will know how to fight. On the other hand, if you do not know the truth, you will be like those whom the apostle Paul describes as men who “beat the air” (1 Corinthians 9:26).
Prayer that is not steeped in truth is misdirected in its targeting, insincere in its earnestness and ineffectively mild in intensity.
Knowing the truth in prayer is what avails much power, dynamic in its working because one is connected to the Holy Spirit who is the Spirit of Truth.

PRAYER: My Lord, I thank You for this knowledge. I understand the power of truth and what it can do in my life. I am a lover of Your Word and seek it earnestly in all that I do. It is with the truth that I face the storms of life, to the glory of Your name, Amen.
