Apostle Grace Lubega
Joshua 10:11-14 (KJV); Then spake Joshua to the Lord in the day when the Lord delivered up the Amorites before the children of Israel, and he said in the sight of Israel, Sun, stand thou still upon Gibeon; and thou, Moon, in the valley of Ajalon. And the sun stood still, and the moon stayed, until the people had avenged themselves upon their enemies. Is this not written in the book of Jasher? So the sun stood still in the midst of heaven, and hasted not to go down about a whole day. And there was no day like that before it or after it, that the Lord hearkened unto the voice of a man: for the Lord fought for Israel.
Never underestimate what God can do because you are His own.
When it comes to His children, there is no law of nature that the Lord cannot defy, no element of the earth he cannot bend.
In our theme scripture in response to Joshua, He stopped the sun. In response to Elijah in 1 Kings 17, He withheld the rain for three years.
All these actions were against nature. They were contrary to what the entire world conceived as normal. But when these men who knew their God asked, He obliged.
In Jeremiah 32:27 He says, “Behold, I am the LORD, the God of all flesh: is there anything too hard for me?”
What is it that you are going through that you assume He cannot turn around? What law do you imagine He cannot break?
In Psalm 2:8, He went so far as to say, “Ask of me, and I shall give [thee] the heathen [for] thine inheritance, and the uttermost parts of the earth [for] thy possession.”
You belong to God and He calls you His own. Because of this truth, there is nothing He will not do for you. Live life with this consciousness.
