Apostle Grace Lubega
1 Corinthians 2:2 (KJV); For I determined not to know anything among you, save Jesus Christ, and him crucified.
You do not need to know everything.
Allow me to qualify this statement.
It is possible for the knowledge that a man receives to corrupt him because the nature of that man is not able to receive it.
This was the fate of Adam and Eve. Adam and Eve were living souls, not spirits (1 Corinthians 15:45). The nature they had was not capable of containing the knowledge of good and evil; when they received this knowledge, it corrupted them.
Think about it for a moment; what man did not know, is what preserved the glory upon his life; hence the bait by the devil in Genesis 3:5, “For God doth know that in the day ye eat thereof, then your eyes shall be opened, and ye shall be as gods, knowing good and evil.”
Today, many people are being sucked into knowledge they are better off not having through the attractiveness of new age spirituality. This form of spirituality is a breeding ground for corruption because it is often practised by men under the corruptible nature. When its latent power is realised, it has the capacity to destroy because men under the adamic nature are incapable of knowing when they are being deceived. The Bible says in 1 Corinthians 2:14 that such men lack spiritual discernment.
Even to regenerated spirits, there is such a thing as demonic wisdom (James 3:15). There are places in the spiritual realm that the Spirit of God will not lead you because He knows what they can do to you either because you are not stable enough to exist in them or because it is not expedient for you.
To know God is enough. There is enough mystery in His person to last you for eternity.

GOLDEN NUGGET: To know God is enough. There is enough mystery in His person to last you for eternity.
PRAYER: Loving Father, I thank You for this truth. Thank You for the wisdom to discern what is mine and what is not mine; to know where to go and where not to go. I yield to Your Spirit as He acquaints me with Your essence and personality. The more I know You, the sweeter You are, in Jesus’ name, Amen.
