Apostle Grace Lubega
Matthew 27:29 (KJV): “And when they had platted a crown of thorns, they put it upon his head, and a reed in his right hand: and they bowed the knee before him, and mocked him, saying, Hail, King of the Jews!”

Many believers understand that Jesus shed His blood for healing. They know the blood that delivered them from sickness but few understand that He also shed blood from His brow and that this blood carried great significance.
When the Roman soldiers pressed the crown of thorns onto Jesus’ head, it pricked him and blood flowed from His brow. This was not random. It struck at the very heart of the curse pronounced in Genesis that man would eat bread “by the sweat of his brow.” (Genesis 3:19).
Jesus’ blood changed the narrative that human effort alone, painful toil and endless struggle would characterize survival.
Hard work is scriptural, diligence is biblical, but toil — painful, frustrated, barren labor — is a curse.
The blessing of the Lord makes rich and adds no sorrow with it. Jesus carried the sorrow so you might carry the blessing. He bore the thorns so you could produce fruit without frustration.
Do not believe the world’s philosophy that wealth must come with endless pain. Jesus shed blood to free you from that mindset. You are not called to survive by struggle.
You are called to flourish by grace. Hallelujah!

GOLDEN NUGGET: Do not believe the world’s philosophy that wealth must come with endless pain. Jesus shed blood to free you from that mindset. You are not called to survive by struggle. You are called to flourish by grace.
PRAYER: Loving Father, I thank You for this word. I refuse a life of struggle, painful toil or frustrated effort. I choose to walk in the grace that makes rich without sorrow. My eyes are opened to the opportunities, wisdom and favor You have ordained for me. I build wealth by Your grace, to the glory of Your name and for the expansion of Your kingdom. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
