Apostle Grace Lubega
Genesis 3:23-24 (KJV): “And the Lord God said, Behold, the man is become as one of us, to know good and evil: and now, lest he put forth his hand, and take also of the tree of life, and eat, and live for ever: Therefore the Lord God sent him forth from the garden of Eden, to till the ground from whence he was taken. So he drove out the man; and he placed at the east of the garden of Eden Cherubims, and a flaming sword which turned every way, to keep the way of the tree of life.”

The temptation to make men eat from the tree of the knowledge of good and evil is still very present today. The enemy did not stop in the garden of Eden.
When he whispers that the financial success you enjoy today may not last, he is drawing your attention to the knowledge of good and evil. When he persuades people that it is normal to alternate between sickness and health, he is still feeding them from the same tree. When he presents life as a cycle of increase and decrease, wealth and poverty, abundance and lack, health and disease, pain and gain, he is inviting men to live by a consciousness that is contrary to the life of God.
But, thank God, this consciousness can be corrected, and it is corrected through the tree of life. Proverbs 15:4 tells us that “a wholesome tongue is a tree of life.”
When you notice lack around you, train yourself to speak and think abundance. In doing so, you cultivate an abundance consciousness and uproot the mindset of good and evil. When those around you are experiencing hardship and limitation, let your confession be one of ease, grace, and supernatural progress. In this way, you build within yourself a consciousness of divine possibility.
This is why the language of Scripture in Job 22:29 is so powerful: “When men are cast down, then thou shalt SAY, there is lifting up.” Notice that the instruction is not merely to observe what is happening around you, but to declare what proceeds from the life of God. Though the world may be filled with fluctuating conditions, good and evil, the believer is called to fix his heart upon that which gives life: lifting up, increase, progress, victory, and great possibilities. Hallelujah!

GOLDEN NUGGET: Though the world may be filled with fluctuating conditions, good and evil, the believer is called to fix his heart upon that which gives life: lifting up, increase, progress, victory, and great possibilities.
PRAYER: Loving Father, I thank You for this word. I receive and embrace it as the creed by which I live. My thoughts and confessions are aligned with this truth. I am conscious of growth, increase, health, wealth, and progress. This is my life and my testimony. In Jesus’ name, amen.
