Psalm 89: 20 (KJV); I have found David my servant; with my holy oil have I anointed him:
By the order of the Spirit, service to God precedes the anointing. This is why in our theme scripture, the Lord speaks of His servant David whom He has anointed with oil.
This means that when the heart of service is revealed, the anointing becomes available.
Some people seek anointing without understanding this order. They want to demonstrate the power of God, to heal the sick, make the lame to walk and cast out devils but their hearts are not hearts of servants.
If a man walks this path, any manifestation of power shall be for prestige and for his own personal honour.
It is the servant’s heart that makes healing the sick an act of compassion and not merely an opportunity to demonstrate how anointed the man is. It is the servant’s heart that makes winning souls an act of love and not merely a duty.
More than seeking to grow and increase in a certain anointing or grace, understand the servant’s heart that makes that anointing available because when you do, you will be invited into an even deeper grace in the same anointing. You will not merely heal, disease will sense your presence and leave men’s bodies. Like Christ, you will not merely cast out devils, they will see you and beg to flee!

PRAYER: Loving Father, I thank You for this great truth. It is my desire to grow and increase in the anointing. Thank You for dealing with my heart and spirit, for opening me to the responsibility of service in the anointing, for taking me beyond privilege to stewardship. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

Kino kitegeeza nti omutima gw’obuweereza bwe gubikkulirwa, amafuta gabeerawo.
Abantu abamu banoonya amafuta nga tebategedde nsengeka eno. Baagala okwolesa amaanyi ga Katonda, okuwonya abalwadde, okutambuza abalema n’okugoba emizimu naye ng’emitima gyabwe ssi mitima gy’abaweereza.
Omuntu bw’atambulira mu kkubo lino, okwolesa kwonna okw’amaanyi kujja kuba kwa kweraga na kwefunira kitiibwa nga ye.

Zaaburi 89:20 (KJV); Mboine Daudi omwiru wangye, Naamushukaho amajuta gangye agarikwera.
Omu buteeka bw’Omwoyo, okuheereza Ruhanga nikwebembera amajuta. Eki nikyo ahabwenki omu mutwe gw’ebyahandiikirwe byaitu, Mukama nagamba aha mwiru we Daudi ou ashukireho amajuta.

MOYO WA MTUMISHI

Zaburi 89:20 (KJV); Nimemwona Daudi, mtumishi wangu, Nimempaka mafuta yangu matakatifu.
Kwa utaratibu wa Roho, huduma kwa Mungu hutangulia upako. Hii ndio sababu katika andiko letu kuu, Bwana anazungumza juu ya mtumishi wake Daudi ambaye Amempaka mafuta.
Hii inamaanisha kuwa wakati moyo wa huduma umefunuliwa, upako unapatikana.
Watu wengine hutafuta upako bila kuelewa utaratibu huu. Wanataka kuonyesha nguvu za Mungu, kuponya wagonjwa, kuwafanya vilema watembee na kutoa pepo lakini mioyo yao sio mioyo ya watumishi.
Ikiwa mtu atatembea katika njia hii, dhihirisho lolote la nguvu litakuwa kwa ukuu na kwa heshima yake binafsi.
Ni moyo wa mtumishi unaofanya uponyaji wa wagonjwa kuwa kitendo cha huruma na sio fursa tu ya kuonyesha jinsi alivyopakwa mafuta. Ni moyo wa mtumishi unaofanya ushindi wa roho za waliopotea kitendo cha upendo na sio tu wajibu.
Zaidi ya kutafuta kukua na kuongezeka katika upako au neema fulani, elewa moyo wa mtumishi unaofanya upako huo upatikane kwa kuwa ukifanya hivyo, utaalikwa kwenye neema hata ya kina zaidi katika upako huo huo. Hautaponya tu, ugonjwa utahisi uwepo wako na kuacha miili ya watu. Kama Kristo, hautatoa pepo tu, zitakuona na zitaomba kutoweka!
