Apostle Grace Lubega
2 Thessalonians 2:10 (KJV); And with all deceivableness of unrighteousness in them that perish; because they received not the love of the truth, that they might be saved.
It has been said that the masses abhor truth and would much rather exist in a world of illusions. The heroes of our day are those that have mastered the art of accentuating these illusions.
But as a child of God, you cannot afford to be numbered among the deception-loving masses. You must be a lover of truth.
A large part of the world as we have understood it from birth has been based on misconceptions of what truth really is. The way the system of this world works is to worsen all manner of limitations. We are raised to exist within the boundaries of ‘sanity,’ in the realm of possible and what can be reasonably conceived by the human mind.
As such, when you tell the average man to stretch the limits of his imagination and make room in his spirit for what no eye has seen, what no ear has heard and what has not entered into the hearts of men, the man will fall back into that number previously mentioned, that abhors truth.
When we say we love the truth, it means that we are ready to rise to any occasion in which truth demands that we stretch the boundaries of our expectations; elevate our visions and see beyond the horizons of human achievement thus far.
A man who knows that in him is the power to heal all manner of disease and demonstrates this without apology is a lover of truth; a woman who knows that by the power of thought, she can change her circumstances because the Bible says that as a man thinketh in his heart so is he (Proverbs 23:7) is a lover of truth.

GOLDEN NUGGET: When we say we love the truth, it means that we are ready to rise to any occasion in which truth demands that we stretch the boundaries of our expectations; elevate our visions and see beyond the horizons of human achievement thus far.
PRAYER: My Father, I thank You for this truth. I thank You for the world of possibilities in Your Word. I embrace it as my portion, to think big, to dream beyond what I have been dreaming and to hunger for a deeper manifestation of Your glory, in Jesus’ name, Amen.
