Apostle Grace Lubega
Proverbs 29:18 (KJV): “Where there is no vision, the people perish: but he that keepeth the law, happy is he.”

Everything God does begins with vision. This is clearly demonstrated in the creation story, where He first commanded light to come forth, light being the emblem of vision. Therefore, the importance of vision in the life of a believer should never be underestimated.
The first and most important vision you must receive as a believer is the vision of God. The true foundation of all Christian endeavour is to see God for who He truly is. Many believers are struggling in life because they have not seen the Lord like He must be seen. Because their vision of God is warped, their view of life and the world is also warped.
The second essential vision is the vision of purpose. After the vision of God, you must see yourself through His eyes. The question becomes: Why am I on the earth? Your life is not random. God crafted you with intention. The discovery of your divine purpose gives direction and saves you from potentially harmful distractions. When you understand your purpose, you stop wasting time on unnecessary things. You no longer chase every opportunity; you pursue the ones aligned with your calling.
With the vision of God and the vision of purpose, your life gains clarity. Priorities become sharper. You live with focus and intentionality because you know where you are going and Who is leading you there. Hallelujah!

PRAYER: Father, thank you for this word. I see You as You really are. You reveal Yourself to me in deeper ways, and show me who I am in You. I am delivered from every form of distraction and walk with clarity and focus. My vision is aligned with heaven, and my life reflects Your glory. With this understanding, I know that I will run my race and finish well. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
