Apostle Grace Lubega
Philippians 2:13 (NKJV): “For it is God who works in you both to will and to do for His good pleasure.”
—
Once you discover your divine blueprint (prothesis), God does not immediately propel you to the pinnacle of public manifestation. Between the promise of purpose and its ultimate fulfillment lies the vital second stage: Process (Ergon).
In our theme scripture, when the Bible declares that God works in you to do His good pleasure, the word for work is tied to ergon, the active, transformative labor through which character is forged and capacity is built. Ergon represents the shaping phase where God takes the raw material of your potential and refines it through spiritual discipline, trial, and training.
This process is often the most uncomfortable season of a believer’s life. It is the crucible where God stretches your faith beyond your comfort zone, demands that you walk in vulnerability, and requires you to take full spiritual responsibility for your choices and growth. In this furnace, God is shaping your character so that you can safely carry the weight of the glory and authority He intends to entrust to you.
Do not despise or resist the uncomfortable seasons of divine discipline and preparation. Stop looking for shortcuts around the spiritual process. Yield fully to the working of the Holy Spirit within you today, allowing Him to mould your character, deepen your spiritual roots, and build the capacity needed for your destiny! Hallelujah!

GOLDEN NUGGET: Do not despise or resist the uncomfortable seasons of divine discipline and preparation. Stop looking for shortcuts around the spiritual process. Yield fully to the working of the Holy Spirit within you today, allowing Him to mould your character, deepen your spiritual roots, and build the capacity needed for your destiny!
PRAYER: Loving Father, I submit myself completely to Your process. Thank You for working in me both to will and to do according to Your good pleasure. Even when the stretching feels uncomfortable, I choose to yield to Your Holy Spirit, knowing that You are building my character. You refine me, and shape me into a vessel fit for the Master’s use. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
