Divine appointments are linked to specific spiritual places, not merely physical locations. This is why understanding spiritual positioning is crucial for every believer.
When Peter walked on water, his position was primarily spiritual. He stepped out in faith on the authority of Christ’s word. However, when he shifted his gaze to the boisterous wind, fear displaced faith, and he began to sink; he lost his spiritual posture. The wind did not alter Christ’s command; it altered Peter’s perception.
Often, the issue is not whether God has appointed a moment for you, but whether you remain in the position of faith required to participate in it. When God calls you into instructions that defy natural logic, surrounding circumstances may become contrary. Faith is the posture through which you engage God’s promises. If you abandon that posture, you stop responding to what God said and start reacting to what you see.
When circumstances shift, do not let fear move you from the realm of faith.

PRAYER: Loving Father, thank You for every divine appointment prepared for my life. Teach me to maintain the posture of faith required to engage what You have ordained. Establish my heart, and keep me from being moved by fear, doubt, or contrary circumstances. When the winds blow, keep me anchored in Your Word so I never miss an encounter. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
