The Unctioned Minister: Diversities Of The Spirit

Apostle Grace Lubega

1 Corinthians 12:4-6 (KJV); Now there are diversities of gifts, but the same Spirit. And there are differences of administrations, but the same Lord. And there are diversities of operations, but it is the same God which worketh all in all.

Years ago, a man of God approached me and ridiculed me over my style of preaching. He advised that it was not good to move about on the pulpit as one speaks and that it was important to maintain one standing position.

He also advised that the sermon must have a proper chronology: introduction, body and conclusion.

Eager to be better, I tried his suggestions and found that I could not conform.

I learned from that experience that it is not proper to try and place a minister within a particular box and confine them to a strict way of doing things.

Being an UNCTIONED minister means that what the Holy Spirit tells you is what you minister. The Holy Spirit does not lead you by the chronology of your sermon notes.

We must appreciate the fact that there are diversities of gifts but the same Spirit, diversities of administrations but the same Lord and diversities of operations but the same God.

The way God made you as a minister might not be the way He made another person.

It is erroneous to think that if you don’t appear or minister like others, you are wrong.

God is not interested in photocopies; He is interested in you the original: Be yourself. Praise Him!

FURTHER STUDY:1 Corinthians 12:4-6, Hebrews 13:13

GOLDEN NUGGET:

Being an UNCTIONED minister means that what the Holy Spirit tells you is what you minister. It is erroneous to think that if you don’t appear or minister like others, you are wrong. God isn’t interested in photocopies; He is interested in you the original: Be yourself!

PRAYER: Father in the name of Jesus, I thank you for your Word and for the ministry to which you have called me. I carry a mark of distinction and I am set apart from any minister in my generation. I am fearfully and wonderfully made. I can never be a photocopy, I am an original. This understanding causes me to minister in the fullness of the things you have laid out for me. In Jesus’s name, Amen.

You Are Crowned

Apostle Grace Lubega

2 Timothy‬ 2:5‬ (KJV‬); And if a man also strive for masteries, yet is he not crowned, except he strive lawfully.‬‬‬‬

There are people in this world who strive for mastery and are consequently crowned.

Striving here is not the struggle to attain something. It is the pursuit of excellence and distinction that is the call for every child of God.

For example, God does not merely want you to be a teacher; He wants you to master at teaching. God does not want you to be merely a prophet; He wants you to be a master at prophecy. God doesn’t want you to merely be a businessman; He wants you to be a master in business.

What is this crown?

This crown is the circumference of your influence in the spirit.

In the dispensation of the grace of God and the understanding that we have been given all things that pertain to life and godliness (2 Peter 1:3), we live as men that have already been crowned.

God has already expanded the sphere of your influence in the spirit.

As you are already crowned, you do not strive by law, that is, your increase does not come by the things you labour to do in your own power.

Your multiplication is a grace issue and a result of yielding to God’s power at work in you.

Child of God, you are already crowned and as such, only strive in the liberties of the spirit. Hallelujah!

FURTHER STUDY: Psalms 75:6, 1 Corinthians 9:25

GOLDEN NUGGET:

As you are already crowned, you do not strive by law, that is, your increase does not come by the things you labour to do in your own power. Your multiplication is a grace issue and a result of yielding to God’s power at work in you.

PRAYER: Father, in the name of Jesus, I thank you for this wisdom. I thank you because I strive as one that is already crowned. The influence of your Spirit upon my life increases every day, my tents are enlarged daily. I am taking territories to the glory of your name. Amen.

We Fight By Wise Counsel

Apostle Grace Lubega

Proverbs 24:6 (KJV); For by wise counsel thou shalt make thy war: and in multitude of counsellors there is safety.

If any child of God must fight the good fight of faith, they must do it by wise counsel.

This is a pattern in the wisdom of God by which we make war.

The reason why many people fight battles and are defeated every other day is because they are fighting the wrong way, they wage war with false counsel and consequently lose.

Proverbs 19:27 says, “Cease, my son, to hear the instruction that causeth to err from the words of knowledge.”

That means we ought to know and give heed to instructions of truth not deception.

One must assess the knowledge they are exposed to and ask themselves first, what sort of knowledge is this? Can it be backed by the word of God?

So, what does His counsel say about that situation?

Fight by exercising yourself to bring every imagination in obedience to the Word of God revealed in your spirit.

Let the oracles of God define your speech and every conversation that the communication of your faith will be made effectual by acknowledging every good thing in you. Hallelujah!

FURTHER STUDY: Proverbs 20:18, 1 John 5:4

GOLDEN NUGGET:

If any child of God must fight the good fight of faith, they must do it by wise counsel. This is a pattern in the wisdom of God by which we make war. Fight by exercising yourself to bring every imagination in obedience to the Word of God revealed in your spirit.

PRAYER: Heavenly Father, I thank you for this blessed counsel. I thank you because I have wise counsel by the Word. By reason of your wise counsel I make war. Thank you for the treasures of wisdom and knowledge in Christ and in me. This wisdom births the deepest places of counsel in my spirit, and I draw it out by understanding. I have results in every area of my life. In the name of the Lord Jesus. Amen.

Swelling Disappears

I had a swelling on the right lower side of my stomach right from my childhood. I also had pain around the umbilical area.
When I was in primary seven, over nine years ago, the swelling worsened increasing in size.
I visited the doctor severally without much success.

Last year on the 12th of August 2017, I attended the 3rd Anniversary celebrations of Phaneroo Ministries.
While ministering that day, Apostle Grace Lubega prayed for the healing power of God to manifest. He mentioned that all manner of conditions were being healed including swellings.

Aware of my condition, I checked my stomach with expectancy only to be shocked; the swelling was totally gone!
Instantly, the swelling that had caused me so much trouble for most of my life was gone, totally healed!

I give thanks to God for His compassion. I continually praise Jesus. Hallelujah!

The Commandment Of Faith

[restabs alignment=”osc-tabs-left” responsive=”false”] [restab title=”English” active=”active”]

Apostle Grace Lubega

1 Timothy 6:12-14 (KJV); Fight the good fight of faith, lay hold on eternal life, whereunto thou art also called, and hast professed a good profession before many witnesses. I give thee charge in the sight of God, who quickeneth all things, and before Christ Jesus, who before Pontius Pilate witnessed a good confession; That thou keep this commandment without spot, unrebukeable, until the appearing of our Lord Jesus Christ.

We are the offspring of faith and as such God requires that we fight the good fight of faith and lay hold of eternal life.

When Paul commits this instruction to his son Timothy, he vehemently admonishes him to “keep this commandment without spot, unrebukeable, until the appearing of our Lord Jesus Christ” (1 Timothy 6:14).

That means that every child of God is mandated to live a life that fully demonstrates the Spirit of faith.

Sadly, many Christians have religiously adhered to the Law of the old covenant, and have ignored the law of present truth, the good fight of faith.

The Bible says in Hebrews 10:38, “Now the just shall live by faith: but if any man draw back, my soul shall have no pleasure in him.” That means that we, the righteous live and walk by faith. (2 Corinthians 5:7).  Without faith, we stumble and perish.

The Word of God has shown us that the patriarchs and men of old obtained a good report by faith (Hebrews 11:1-2).

How much more we who are new creatures in Christ and begotten of the incorruptible seed of the Word of God?

Faith is the victory that overcomes the world (1 John 5:4). In every circumstance, hold fast your profession of faith!

Let faith define your conversation, life, ministry, career and everything around you. Your story is one of faith. Glory to God!

FURTHER STUDY: Romans 4:12-22, Hebrews 11:1-2

GOLDEN NUGGET:
Every child of God is mandated to live a life that fully demonstrates the Spirit of faith.

PRAYER: Heavenly Father, I thank you for this great commandment of faith and for giving me the God-kind of faith. Your word says that you have dealt to me the measure of faith, and that by it I live and walk. Thank you for that substance of things hoped for and the evidence of things not seen. It works in me mightily to do great exploits and to shake this world for your glory. In Jesus’ name. Amen.

Amen.

You Are Eternal

[restabs alignment=”osc-tabs-left” responsive=”false”] [restab title=”English” active=”active”]

Apostle Grace Lubega

Ecclesiastes 3:11(AMP); He has made everything beautiful in it’s time. HE ALSO HAS PLANTED ETERNITY IN MEN’S HEARTS AND MINDS [A DIVINELY IMPLANTED SENSE OF A PURPOSE WORKING THROUGH THE AGES WHICH NOTHING UNDER THE SUN BUT GOD ALONE CAN SATISFY], yet so that men cannot find out what God has done from the beginning to the end.

God has placed ETERNITY in your heart. What you carry within you (the Word) is of eternal substance. It lives and abides forever (1 Peter 1:23).

The Lord did not intend to put INFINITE things in a FINITE body without an INFINITE purpose that transcends our finite existence.

The Word of God at work in you is going to have an effect even in heaven. That is why we store up treasure in heaven (Luke 12:33).

We invest IN eternity, FOR eternity!

Don’t be deceived child of God. The knowledge of God you receive on the earth does not cease to have relevance simply because you are no longer existent in the flesh.

That is why it is eternal life to know God, why we look to higher and deeper truths that are timeless in application, why we persistently search the bottomless depths of God. Hallelujah!

FURTHER STUDY: 1 Peter 1:23, Luke 12:33

GOLDEN NUGGET:

We invest IN eternity, FOR eternity!

PRAYER: Father, your Word is great and mighty. It was in the beginning and it shall never pass away. Thank you that I am begotten of this very word. It is deeply rooted in me and I in it. By it I do things that echo through eternity. To the glory of your name. Amen.

PÉPITE D’OR : Nous investissons DANS l’éternité, POUR l’éternité !

Amen.

Of Spiritual Ranks

Apostle Grace Lubega

John 1:30 (AMP); This is He of Whom I said, After me comes a Man Who has priority over me [Who takes rank above me] because He was before me and existed before I did.

The spiritual world is ranked.

There are people whom God has set ahead of you in the things of the spirit, those who are at the same level with you and those who are below you.

Our theme scripture reveals that Jesus Christ was ranked above John the Baptist.

Even if John was older in the physical body than Christ, Jesus was preferred and considered as being priority over John because He was before him in the things of the spirit.

Spiritual ranks are not dependent on physical age but rather on spiritual experiences.

In this case, the scriptures consider Jesus as the ancient of days (Daniel 7:9), He who existed in the spirit even before He was physically manifested on the earth.

This informs how we ought to treat spiritual authority.

Any man above you in the spirit must enjoy a level of priority over you.

There is a higher level of honour and respect that you ought to accord them.

For example, this is reflected in the most basic actions of human life in how we ought to treat elders. Allow them your seat, if they have none. Attend to them first if they need your attention on a matter. Treat their demands as a priority because of their age.

Even so in the church of Jesus Christ, it is required to give honour relating with the anointing and with anointed of God.

However, this should not be an occasion for the anointed to abuse by demanding that people do very demeaning acts or worship to the individual as their god.

FURTHER STUDY: 1 Timothy 5:17, Hebrews 13:17

GOLDEN NUGGET:

Any man above you in the spirit must enjoy a level of priority over you. There is a higher level of honour and respect that you ought to accord them.

PRAYER: My father, I thank you for those that you have placed in my life as spiritual authorities. I know that it is for my sake that they have gone ahead, like Jesus our forerunner went into the Holy of Holies. Their patterns are my lessons. Thank you for the grace to relate with them in revelation, understanding and to never conflict the ranks. In Jesus’ name. Amen.

Things That Make Ministers: The Word

Apostle Grace Lubega

Acts 19:20(KJV); So mightily grew the word of God and prevailed.

I have been a minister of the gospel long enough to see some men of God craftily handle the Word of God because they have not given themselves to the intent study of it.

For example, a pastor may stand before a congregation, open the Bible and land on a scripture that starts with “And Jesus went…” And from that, he builds his sermon.

“Because Jesus went, you are also going somewhere… you are going to your next job, you are going to your next business deal, you are going to your marriage… you are going…!”

Sometimes, the church would get so excited but with no proper understanding of where they were going or how to get there. They were merely excited but without revelation.

Some ministers do not understand the most basic writings of the New Testament, what Paul calls the elementary or first principles of the oracles (Hebrews 5:12).

Thus, we live in a generation where what people are fed on is not even the SINCERE milk of the Word of God but the semantics of crafty preachers.

It begs the question, how much of the teachings on our pulpits reveal the person of Christ?

How many accurately demystify the mystery of Melchizedek, of the true minister of the sanctuary and go past Peter’s revelation of Him being the Christ of God? How many teachings are truly building on the foundation that Paul laid, to “raise walls, windows and doors” of the great structure that is the Church?

The deception is because some men of God can demonstrate the Spirit, and so people assume that they know God and His Word.

Our theme scripture says that in Ephesus, the Word of God mightily grew and prevailed.

The Church of Christ is steadily and continuously advancing against the gates of hell but it is because of the Word that those gates cannot stand our attacks.

The Word of God is bigger than any demonstration of the spirit recorded in history, it is life!

Perhaps, we are not seeing God like we ought, because we are not teaching the truth.

When the Christ is lifted up, He draws men unto himself (John 12:32). When the fruit of your mouth reveals Christ, your ministry will not fail. Hallelujah!

FURTHER STUDY: Hebrews 5:12, John 12:32

GOLDEN NUGGET:
The Church of Christ is steadily and continuously advancing against the gates of hell but it is because of the Word that those gates cannot stand our attacks. The Word of God is bigger than any demonstration of the spirit recorded in history, it is the life of God.

PRAYER: My Lord, your Word is great. It prevails over circumstances and it is the power with which we advance against the gates of hell. I have victory in this word and walk triumphantly in its glory. I choose to give myself to the Word knowing that it makes men, that it is the source of testimony and that by it I have overcome. By your word I am taking over territories to the glory of your name. Amen.

Things That Make Ministers: The Arm Of Flesh

Apostle Grace Lubega

John 2:24-25(AMP); But Jesus [for His part] did not trust Himself to them, because He knew all [men]; And He did not need anyone to bear witness concerning man [needed no evidence from anyone about men], for He Himself knew what was in human nature. [He could read men’s hearts.]

Every minister ought to understand that it is by God’s sufficiency that he [the minister] pays the ultimate price for his ministry; he ought not to expect other men to do so for him on their own.

Yes, God will use men, but it will not be in the ability of those men, but His faithfulness and love toward the minister.

I have seen pastors whose ministries are dependent on their richest members in material terms.

Some even hand over decision making power in the ministry to such individuals while others lean heavily on politicians in their congregations for favour and a source of continuity.

The Bible says that Jesus did not commit Himself to men because He knew what was in them: He did not submit Himself to their influence [even when they believed in Him) because He knew that men are fickle by nature.

In fact, He was proved right by the events leading up to His death on the cross.

Multitudes used to follow Him.

During the triumphant entry, these same multitudes sang praises to Him and hailed Him as He entered Jerusalem (Matthew 21).

But where did they all go when He was arrested and crucified?

Even the twelve that previously went everywhere with Him disappeared at his hour of crisis (Matthew 26:56).

Never trust a man for what God can do. Never put your trust in the arm of flesh. If you do, the scriptures reveal that it will surely fail you (Jeremiah 17:5-6).

As a minister, people are not the reason why you stand, God is! He is your source and will uphold, sustain, increase and multiply you. Hallelujah!

FURTHER STUDY: Matthew 26:56, Jeremiah 17:5-6

GOLDEN NUGGET:

Never trust a man for what God can do. Never put your trust in the arm of flesh. As a minister, people are not the reason why you stand, God is! He is your source and will uphold, sustain, increase and multiply you.

PRAYER: My loving father, you are my source and sustenance. I lean on you with all my heart. My trust can never be in myself or even in other men. Like you were the inheritance of the Levite, I know that you are my portion and inheritance. My favour, increase, glory and honour are from you. I know that I am called of you. Lord you cannot call a man and not sustain him. You cannot call a man and not keep him. You cannot call a man and not uphold him. I look to you always, knowing that I am in capable hands. In Jesus’ name. Amen.

He Counts Us Faithful

Apostle Grace Lubega

1 Timothy 1:12-14 (KJV); And I thank Christ Jesus our Lord, who hath enabled me, for that he counted me faithful, putting me into the ministry; Who was before a blasphemer, and a persecutor, and injurious: but I obtained mercy, because I did it ignorantly in unbelief. And the grace of our Lord was exceeding abundant with faith and love which is in Christ Jesus.

Faithfulness in the things of God is key.

But what is faithfulness in the mind of God?

Paul reveals that God COUNTED him faithful; He did not FIND him faithful but considered him faithful.

The Lord did not base this on the fact that Paul was doing the things that faithful people do.

He was looked at as faithful even when he was still a persecutor, blasphemous and injurious to the body of Christ.

Our faithfulness is not primarily because we do things that demonstrate faithfulness.

Even before we do any such things, God COUNTS us faithful.
Paul says that God separated him from his mother’s womb and called him by His grace (Galatians 1:15).

Like Paul, when you reflect on your life before salvation, you were not the most trust worthy person for that calling with which now you serve God.

You probably used to despise born again Christians and considered them a nuisance; most likely, you hated church and the idea of praying.

But God looked past all this and still saw the apostle, pastor, prophet, teacher or evangelist in you.

Even in your mischief, God still saw the master soul winner in you.

He consecrated, separated, called and presented you as a worthy minister and counted you faithful. Hallelujah!

FURTHER STUDY: Galatians 1:15, Romans 8:30

GOLDEN NUGGET:
Our faithfulness is not primarily because we do things that demonstrate faithfulness. Even before we do any such things, God counts us faithful.

PRAYER: Father, I thank you for your grace. Your Word says that even while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us; you loved us before we ever loved you and you counted us faithful before we ever did anything to demonstrate that we are. You impute precious righteousness on us every day, calling the things that are not as though they were. We are who we are because of what you say and not because of who we try to be. In Jesus’ name. Amen.
