Your desires should not be mistaken for the assignment of God.
Sometimes what we wish to do is contrary to what God ordained for us to do.
For example, King David, as per our theme scripture, had a desire to build the temple of God but He was not assigned to do so.
The desire might be noble, admirable and even godly. That should not be the primary motivation to follow it through. You may end up burdening yourself with what was never on God’s agenda.
Another example is the Apostle Paul. He had a burning desire for the salvation of the Jews, however, he was not assigned to them (Romans 9:3).
No matter how passionately you feel about an issue, SUBMIT IT TO GOD. Never allow zeal to obliterate God’s voice in your life.
Some Christians whom we have labelled as martyrs died in places of desire and not assignment.
God understands your passion but it is more important to Him that you serve Him in the place of assignment than merely that of desire.

Tamanio lako halipaswi kuchukuliwa kimakosa kama kazi ya Mungu.
Wakati mwingine kile tunachotaka kufanya ni kinyume na kile ambacho Mungu alituagiza tufanye.
Kwa mfano, Mfalme Daudi, kulingana na andiko letu kuu, alikuwa na hamu ya kujenga hekalu la Mungu lakini hakupewa kazi ya kufanya hivyo.

DÉSIR VS MISSION

J’avais l’intention de bâtir une maison de repos pour l’arche de l’alliance de l’Éternel et pour le marchepied de notre Dieu, et je me préparais à bâtir. Mais Dieu m’a dit: Tu ne bâtiras pas une maison à mon nom, car tu es un homme de guerre et tu as versé du sang.

Vos désirs ne doivent pas être confondus avec la mission de Dieu.
Parfois, ce que nous souhaitons faire est contraire à ce que Dieu nous a ordonné de faire.
Par exemple, le roi David, selon notre écriture thématique, souhaitait construire le temple de Dieu, mais il n’était pas chargé de le faire.
Le désir peut être noble, admirable et même pieux. Cela ne devrait pas être la principale motivation pour aller jusqu’au bout. Vous pourriez finir par vous encombrer de ce qui n’a jamais été prévu par Dieu.
Un autre exemple est celui de l’apôtre Paul. Il avait un désir ardent de sauver les Juifs, mais il ne leur était pas assigné (Romains 9 : 3).
Peu importe à quel point vous vous sentez passionné par un problème, SOUMETTEZ-LE À DIEU. Ne laissez jamais le zèle oblitérer la voix de Dieu dans votre vie.
Certains chrétiens que nous avons qualifiés de martyrs sont morts dans des lieux de désir et non de mission.
Dieu comprend votre passion, mais il est plus important pour Lui que vous Le serviez à la place de votre mission plutôt que simplement celle du désir.
