Ephesians 3:19 (AMPC); [That you may really come] to know [practically, through experience for yourselves] the love of Christ, which far surpasses mere knowledge [without experience]; that you may be filled [through all your being] unto all the fullness of God [may have the richest measure of the divine Presence, and become a body wholly filled and flooded with God Himself]!
There are three forms of the presence of God.
The first form is generic, an example of which the Psalmist describes in Psalm 139 when he says, ‘Whither shall I go from thy spirit? or whither shall I flee from thy presence? If I ascend up into heaven, thou art there: if I make my bed in hell, behold, thou art there.’
The second is the exclusive form of His presence, which was experienced by specific individuals in the Old Testament because of their divine assignment in their generation. For example, Moses carried this exclusive form of His presence. Elijah had an exclusive form of the presence of God. We see it in the life of Abraham, David, Elisha, Joshua and many great men of old.
The third form of the presence of God is that of the new birth, which is described in our theme scripture as the richest measure of the divine presence. It is the form that we who believed in Jesus Christ should live by and experience.
Sadly, there are Christians who have not understood this third form. Their relationship with God is based only on the second form of His presence which was exclusive to specific individuals. This is seen in how often they seek prophets, seers and men of God to hear God on their behalf.
Because they misunderstand how the presence of God in the New Testament works, they subject their growth, deliverance and progress to other men whom they assume God has anointed in a special way.
You must understand that we are no longer in the dispensation of the exclusivity of the presence of God. We are in a time where the highest measure of the Divine presence is available and accessible to all.

Waefeso 3:19 (AMPC); [Ili mpate kweli kweli] kujua [kivitendo, kupitia uzoefu kwa ajili yenu wenyewe] upendo wa Kristo, ambao unapita kwa mbali ujuzi [bila uzoefu]; ili mjazwe [kupitia utu wenu wote] kwa utimilifu wote wa Mungu [mpate kipimo kikubwa zaidi cha Uwepo wa Kiungu, na kuwa mwili uliojazwa kabisa na mafuriko na Mungu Mwenyewe]!
Kuna aina tatu za uwepo wa Mungu.
Aina ya kwanza ni ya ujumla, mfano ambao Mtunga Zaburi anaueleza katika Zaburi 139 anaposema, ‘Nenda wapi niiache roho yako? au nitakimbilia wapi nijiepushe na uso wako? Nikipanda mbinguni, wewe uko huko; nikitandika kitanda changu kuzimu, tazama, uko huko.
Ya pili ni aina ya kipekee ya uwepo wake, ambayo ilishuhudiwa na watu maalum katika Agano la Kale kwa sababu ya kazi yao ya kiungu katika kizazi chao. Kwa mfano, Musa alibeba namna hii ya kipekee ya uwepo Wake. Eliya alikuwa na namna ya pekee ya uwepo wa Mungu. Tunaiona katika maisha ya Ibrahimu, Daudi, Elisha, Yoshua na watu wengi wakuu wa kale.
Aina ya tatu ya uwepo wa Mungu ni ile ya kuzaliwa upya, ambayo inafafanuliwa katika maandiko yetu ya mada kama kipimo kikubwa zaidi cha uwepo wa Mungu. Ni aina ambayo sisi tuliomwamini Yesu Kristo tunapaswa kuishi nayo na kupata ufahamu.
Cha kusikitisha ni kwamba, kuna Wakristo ambao hawajaelewa aina hii ya tatu. Uhusiano wao na Mungu unategemea tu aina ya pili ya uwepo Wake ambao ulikuwa wa kipekee kwa watu maalum. Hii inaonekana katika namna mara nyingi wanatafuta manabii, waonaji na watu wa Mungu ili kumsikia Mungu kwa niaba yao.
Kwa sababu hawaelewi jinsi uwepo wa Mungu katika Agano Jipya unavyofanya kazi, wanaweka ukuaji wao, ukombozi na maendeleo yao kwa watu wengine ambao wanafikiri kwamba Mungu amewatia mafuta kwa njia ya pekee.
Lazima uelewe kwamba hatupo tena katika kipindi cha upekee wa uwepo wa Mungu. Tupo katika wakati ambapo kipimo cha juu zaidi cha uwepo wa Kimungu kinapatikana na kupatikana kwa wote.
