John 14:13-14 (KJV); And whatsoever ye shall ask in my name, that will I do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son. If ye shall ask anything in my name, I will do it.
The spirit of religion does not have a problem with normal prayer. It is comfortable as long as your requests to God are within the bounds of human reason and are capable of rational explanation.
However, once your prayers and petitions to God go beyond the realms of human expectation, the spirit of religion will start to question what kind of God you serve or even your sanity.
Specifically, the spirit of religion subjects men to prayers that are realistic, attainable and make sense to the average person. Anyone functioning under a religious spirit has a kind of faith that is based on what is explainable, considering available resources.
Even the men of this world think like this. In fact, some of them are even more daring in faith than the average Christian.
Is that how God has called us to live? No.
In Jeremiah 32:27, Our Father tells us, “Behold, I am the Lord, the God of all flesh: is there anything too hard for me?”
We are children of the Most High God and in our theme scripture, He has given us a blank canvas to paint with all manner of possibilities. We have been called to be bold in faith, to eliminate impossibility from our language, to dream big and to elevate our visions above the predictable patterns of this world.

Namunonga, Omwoyo w’ediini naagyema abantu omu shaara ezirikwetegyerezibwa ab’ensi, ezirikubaho kandi ezirikukora amakuru aha muntu w’aburiijo. Omuntu weena orikukorera ahansi y’omwoyo w’ediini aine ekika ky’okwikiriza okurikushobororwa, kurugirira ebintu ebiriho.

Yohana 14:13-14 ( KJV); Nanyi mkiomba lo lote kwa jina langu, hilo nitalifanya, ili Baba atukuzwe ndani ya Mwana. Mkiniomba neno lo lote kwa jina langu, nitalifanya.
Roho ya dini haina shida na maombi ya kawaida. Ni jambo la kustarehesha kwake mradi maombi yako kwa Mungu yako ndani ya mipaka ya akili za kibinadamu na yana uwezo wa kufafanua mambo yenye mantiki.
Hata hivyo, mara tu sala na maombi yako kwa Mungu yanapita matarajio ya wanadamu, roho ya dini itaanza kutilia shaka ni aina gani ya Mungu unayemtumikia au hata kama akili yako ni timamu.
