John 15:2 (NKJV); Every branch in Me that does not bear fruit He takes away; and every branch that bears fruit He prunes, that it may bear more fruit.
When God prunes you, the third thing He deals with (after your will and spiritual understanding) is your intellect.
As a child of God, how do you apply your intellect to the experiences of the Spirit? If your intellect is not reconciled with the revelation of God, you cannot understand His judgments.
Why is understanding the judgments of God so important? It is what keeps you from offence.
In Philippians 1:9-10, the Bible says, “And this I pray, that your love may abound yet more and more in knowledge and in all judgment; That ye may approve things that are excellent; that ye may be sincere and without offence till the day of Christ.”
Take the example of a man who is very prophetic and God has gifted Him with access to the secrets of men. If that man’s intellect is not reconciled to his experiences, he may speak everything that he sees and end up destroying the life of the person to whom he prophesied or the people around him or her.
In pruning us, God deals with our minds. In this, He keeps us from being so “heavenly useful and earthly useless.” He teaches us that we are dealing with men whose emotions, character and life experiences vary and as such, we must be wise in how we administer spiritual lessons and demonstrate spiritual experiences.
This pruning keeps us from breaking the weak through our spirituality, hence offending both God and man because we are not sensitive enough to understand that they are unable to bear some insights of the Spirit or to understand some things about spiritual life.

GOLDEN NUGGET: In pruning us, God deals with our minds. In this, He keeps us from being so “heavenly useful and earthly useless.” He teaches us that we are dealing with men whose emotions, character and life experiences vary and as such, we must be wise in how we administer spiritual lessons and demonstrate spiritual experiences.
PRAYER: Loving Father, I thank You for this truth. Thank You because You are my wisdom. Even as I grow in spiritual experiences, I can never offend You or any man because Your Spirit causes me to deal with people in understanding, never to break what must be built or build what must be broken. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

Katonda bw’akusalira, ekintu eky’okusatu ky’akolako (ng’amazze okukola ku kwagala kwo n’entegeera yo ey’omwoyo) y’endowooza yo.
Ng’omwana wa Katonda, okozesa otya endowooza yo eri ensisinkano z’Omwoyo? Endowooza yo bw’eba tekwatagana na kubikkulirwa kwa Katonda, tosobola kutegeera nnamula ya Katonda.
Lwaki okutegeera ennamula ya Katonda kya mugaso nnyo? Ky’ekikukuuma okuva eri okusittaza.
Mu Abafiripi 1:9-10 Baibuli egamba, “Era kino kye nsaba okwagala kwammwe kweyongereyongerenga kusukkirirenga mu kutegeera n’okwawula kwonna: mulyoke musiimenga ebisinga obulungi; mubeerenga abatalina bukuusa era abatalina kabi okutuusa ku lunaku lwa Kristo.”

Ruhanga yakusharira nari akakutaniisa, ekyakashatu eki arikokoragana nakyo n’enteekateeka yaawe.
Nk’omwaana wa Ruhanga, nokoresa ota enteekateeka yaawe aha bintu by’omyoyo? Enteekateeka yaawe yaaba etarikukoragana n’okushuuruurirwa kwa Ruhanga, torikubaasa kwetegyereza oku arikucwa emanja.
Ahabwenki okwetegyereza okucwa emanja kwa Ruhanga kiri kikuru? Nikyo kirikukurinda okucumura.

Ruhanga obwakusemeza, ekintu eky’akasatu eky’Akoraho (hanyuma y’okugonza kwawe n’enyetegereza yawe ey’omwoyo) eri entekereza yawe.
Nk’omwana wa Ruhanga, mulingo ki ogw’ota entekereza yawe ha bumanyiizi bw’Omwoyo? Entekereza yawe obwera’ba etakuikiraniza n’okusukuurwa kwa Ruhanga, tokusobora kwetegereza okuramura Kwe.
Habwaki okwetegereza okuramura kwa Ruhanga kuli kukuru muno? Nikwo okukulinda okuruga hali omusango.

KUPOGOLEWA NA MUNGU – 4

Yohana 15:2 (NKJV); Kila tawi ndani Yangu ambalo halizai matunda Yeye huchukua; na kila tawi linalozaa matunda Yeye hupogoa, ili kuzaa matunda zaidi.
Wakati Mungu anapokupogoa, jambo la tatu analoshughulika nalo (baada ya mapenzi na uelewa wako wa kiroho) ni akili yako.
Kama mtoto wa Mungu, unatumiaje akili yako kwa uzoefu wa Roho? Ikiwa akili yako haipatani na ufunuo wa Mungu, huwezi kuelewa hukumu Zake.
Kwa nini kuelewa hukumu za Mungu ni muhimu sana? Hiki ndicho kinachokuzuia kuchukizwa.
Katika Wafilipi 1: 9-10, Biblia inasema, “Na hii ndiyo dua yangu, kwamba pendo lenu lizidi kuwa jingi sana, katika hekima na ufahamu wote; mpate kuyakubali yaliyo mema; ili mpate kuwa na mioyo safi, bila kosa, mpaka siku ya Kristo.”
Chukua mfano wa mtu ambaye ana unabii sana na Mungu amempa zawadi kwa kumfunulia siri za wanadamu. Ikiwa akili ya mtu huyo haipatani na uzoefu wake, anaweza kuzungumza kila kitu anachokiona na kuishia kuharibu maisha ya mtu ambaye alitolea unabii au watu waliomzunguka.
Katika kutupogoa, Mungu anashughulika na akili zetu. Katika hili, Anatuzuia kuwa “muhimu mbinguni na bila maana kidunia.” Anatufundisha kwamba tunashughulika na watu ambao hisia zao, tabia na uzoefu wa maisha hutofautiana na kwa hivyo, lazima tuwe na hekima katika jinsi tunavyotoa masomo ya kiroho na kudhihirisha mambo ya kiroho.
Kupogoa huku kunatuzuia kuwavunja wanyonge kupitia uroho wetu, na hivyo kumkosea Mungu na mwanadamu kwa sababu sisi si wenye busara ya kutosha kuelewa kwamba hawawezi kubeba ufahamu fulani wa Roho au kuelewa baadhi ya mambo kuhusu maisha ya kiroho.
MASOMO YA ZIADA: Wafilipi 1:9-10, Matendo 24:16
UJUMBE MKUU: Katika kutupogoa, Mungu anashughulika na akili zetu. Katika hili, Anatuzuia kuwa “muhimu mbinguni na bila maana kidunia.” Anatufundisha kwamba tunashughulika na watu ambao hisia zao, tabia na uzoefu wa maisha hutofautiana na kwa hivyo, lazima tuwe na hekima katika jinsi tunavyotoa masomo ya kiroho na kudhihirisha mambo ya kiroho.
SALA: Baba Mpenzi, Ninakushukuru kwa kweli hii. Asante kwa sababu wewe ni hekima yangu. Hata ninapokua katika uzoefu wa kiroho, siwezi kamwe kukukosea wewe au mtu yeyote kwa sababu Roho Wako ananifanya nishughulikie watu katika kuelewa, kamwe kutovunja kile kinachopaswa kujengwa au kujenga kile kinachopaswa kuvunjwa.
