The Phaneroo Devotion: Looking To The Lord: Until He Shows Us His Mercy And Grace
Apostle Grace Lubega
Psalm 123:1–2 (AMP): “To You I lift up my eyes, O You Who are enthroned in the heavens. Behold, as the eyes of servants look to the hand of their masters, and as the eyes of a maid to the hand of her mistress, so our eyes look to the Lord our God, until He show us His mercy and grace.”
—
The Psalmist unveils a crucial principle in our walk of faith: our eyes must remain fixed on God “until He show us His mercy and grace.” The requirement is not to look for a day, a week, a month, or even a year; the requirement is to keep looking until you see the answer, until the breakthrough manifests in the physical realm.
Just as a dedicated servant keeps his eyes attentively fixed on the master’s hand, waiting for the slightest signal, direction, or supply, our spiritual vision must remain locked onto the Lord without distraction. Sometimes the manifestation of your healing, financial turnaround, or family deliverance comes swiftly; other times, it requires enduring patience over longer periods of time.
Do not allow time, delay, or visible circumstances to cause you to look away from the enthroned King. Whatever promised Word God has spoken over your life, maintain your focus, keep your confession alive, and refuse to be distracted. As long as your eyes stay fixed on Him, confident in His faithfulness, victory is guaranteed. Hallelujah!

PRAYER: Heavenly Father, I thank You because You are the Author and Finisher of my faith. I lift my eyes to You, the One enthroned in the heavens, and I declare that my hope and expectation are anchored solely in You. Today, I receive the grace to remain steadfast, keeping my gaze locked on Your Word until my breakthrough fully manifests. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
