Apostle Grace Lubega
Matthew 11:11 (NKJV): “Assuredly, I say to you, among those born of women there has not risen one greater than John the Baptist; but he who is least in the kingdom of heaven is greater than he.”
—
When Jesus spoke about John the Baptist, He set a powerful standard. He declared that among all people born of women, no one was greater than John. John was filled with the Holy Spirit even before he was born and carried tremendous spiritual power. Yet, if you look at the Scriptures, the only man who was never born of a woman was Adam, created directly by God from the dust of the earth and filled with God’s own breath. Adam was also deeply anointed.
Many people think the anointing only started during the time of Jesus or at Pentecost. But right from the beginning, human beings were never meant to live without God’s power. In the Garden of Eden, Adam walked in divine authority, wisdom, and glory to rule over creation. He functioned in a great anointing in order to achieve this. The anointing is not a new idea; it is how God originally made you to live.
John the Baptist showed the highest level of power a natural man born of a woman could have under the Old Covenant. But through Jesus, you are born of God and restored into a place of divine authority. You were never created to depend only on human strength, hard work, or natural intelligence.
Step into your true identity, lean on the Holy Spirit, and walk in the power God prepared for you from the very beginning!

PRAYER: Heavenly Father, thank You for the revelation of Your Word. I know and understand that I was created to live in Your supernatural power. I choose not to depend on my own human strength or wisdom. I yield to the power of the Holy Spirit in me and walk in the full authority, wisdom, and power You have ordained for me. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
