Psalm 34:4(AMP): “I sought the LORD [on the authority of His word], and He answered me, And delivered me from all my fears.”

Many believers do not fully comprehend the spiritual power behind seeking God on the authority of His Word. They often operate under the misconception that God is moved primarily by human emotions, tears, or the intensity of their distress. However, God is not moved by empty feelings; He is moved by what you know of Him and His truth.
Scripture reveals in 1 Samuel 2:3 that He is the “God of knowledge.” Why is this distinction so critical? Because this knowledge is the very anchor of God’s integrity, which He values above all else. The Bible says that He elevates His Word even above His own name (Psalm 138:2).
Standing on the Word in prayer is, in essence, saying to the Father: “You said it; therefore, perform it.” It is the Word that causes us to approach His throne with boldness.
Nothing stirs the power of God into immediate action like a believer who stands on His Word and trusts His integrity.
