When you make it your lifestyle to pray for the sick and the suffering, people you may never meet on this side of eternity, faces you will never see, and names you will never know, God works through that intercession in ways beyond natural comprehension. Through your faithful prayers, the Holy Spirit moves across hospital wards, home beds, and dark nights of the soul, visiting the afflicted even in their dreams to release divine healing, comfort, and restoration.
Let this become the pattern of your prayer life. When you hear of pain in the land or suffering in the lives of others, let your first impulse be intercession.
