In yesterday’s devotional, we saw what a consistent life of seeking God gives; it positions us to receive the wisdom needed to navigate life’s transitions. Beyond receiving wisdom, however, there is another profound benefit of maintaining a consistent life of communion; one that deserves our focus today.
Being in the presence of the Father daily and seeking His face does something to your heart; it breaks and softens your heart, keeping it open, vulnerable, and moldable before Him. In that place of regular fellowship, you become a yielded vessel, one that the Lord can easily shape to align with His sovereign will and higher purposes.
Consistency in prayer produces true spiritual brokenness and humility. This soft-hearted posture is what ultimately positions you for divine elevation and keeps you aligned with the changing seasons of the Spirit.
On the other hand, when progress stalls, it is often because of a hardened heart. This spiritual hardness can creep in quietly and often begins when we drift away from the constant communion required to discern the voice of God clearly.
Today, I urge you to make a deliberate choice to step away from the noise and return to the secret place. Spend time with the Holy Spirit and surrender anew to His leading.

PRAYER: Loving Father, thank You for the privilege of coming into Your presence daily. You search my heart and teach me to yield to You. Deal with me, Lord, and make me moldable in Your hands so that my life aligns fully with Your divine will. I receive the grace to remain consistent in prayer, surrendered to Your Spirit, and ready for every new season You have prepared for me. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
