Apostle Grace Lubega
Micah 3:11 (KJV): “The heads thereof judge for reward, and the priests thereof teach for hire, and the prophets thereof divine for money: yet will they lean upon the Lord, and say, Is not the Lord among us? none evil can come upon us.”
—
One of the clearest distinctions between the true spirit of prophecy and the spirit of divination is this: the Spirit of prophecy does not trade divine utterance for money.
No true oracle from heaven is locked behind a financial charge. No genuine prophet of God demands payment before speaking what the Lord has placed in his mouth. Men may choose to honor the vessel through whom God has ministered to them, and such honor has its place, but it is never to be demanded as though the grace of God were a product for sale.
This is where the spirit of divination reveals itself. Divination always seeks reward. It commercializes access to the spiritual. It makes people believe that divine direction, prophetic insight, or heavenly intervention can be bought. But the voice of God is not a commodity.
Beloved, consider the heart of the Father. Would God deny a widow, a struggling student, or a single mother the word that could shape her next season simply because she cannot afford to pay a prophet? Certainly not. The God of all grace does not reserve His mercy for the highest bidder.
As a minister, let Christ’s words be your foundation: freely He gave, freely give (Matthew 10:8). Let your service be marked by love, not greed; by compassion, not manipulation. Hallelujah!

GOLDEN NUGGET: No true oracle from heaven is locked behind a financial charge. No genuine prophet of God demands payment before speaking what the Lord has placed in his mouth. Men may choose to honor the vessel through whom God has ministered to them, and such honor has its place, but it is never to be demanded as though the grace of God were a product for sale.
PRAYER: Loving Father, I thank You for this truth. I embrace it with humility and gratitude. You are a good God, rich in grace, love, and mercy. May I never place a charge on the gifts You have graciously given me. Teach me to minister freely, just as I have freely received, always remembering that You are my reward and my portion. In Jesus’ name. Amen.
